Chika is a 25-year-old very famous American rapper. Her actual name is Jane Chika Oranika and is from Montgomery, Alabama. She works with Warner Records and was nominated for Grammy Awards new artist in 2020. So no doubt she is a very successful artist with a lot of fame. 

 

Despite being so successful, Chika has said several times that she is struggling with mental health issues. Recently she posted a few stories on her Instagram story revealing that she wants to end her life.

On her Instagram stories, she has written lengthy paragraphs explaining her plans. As per her, she wants to commit suicide to gain “internal peace”. She has written that she had this thought of jumping from the Intercontinental rooftop.  But she didn’t as she got scared of metal stairs. She describes it as ” a thing of having a fucked up brain”. She explained that no matter how hard she tries to free herself from life there’s always something to hold herself back.

Further, she advised her fans to save their sympathy for another time when she will be successful in her suicide attempt. She has stated that she will find an easy and painless way to end her life. She has ended the paragraph with a heart-wrenching note. She thinks that she is a cautionary tale and this is the only thing she can do on her own.

In some more  Instagram stories, she has given scary hints, As per her, people will find her body on different streets. She does not care anymore. Though it’s unclear where she is right now.

As per the TMZ report, After hearing about people’s concerns Police have visited Chicka’s apartment but she was not there. Chika has stated that she will not come back home.

However, back in April 2021, Chika suddenly deactivated her Twitter account. People were concerned for her then and tried to reach her via DMs. Therefore, Chika returned after a few days and stated that Cardi B has saved her. She also confessed that time she wants to retire from the music industry but many people are insulting her because of this decision. She is unable to cope with all this. But it seemed like she overcame that face. So now we hope that someone is able to reach her on time and save her.

Symmetry is more often the norm than the exception in biology. Our bodies contain left and right sides, starfish radiate from a central point, and even trees produce symmetrical blossoms, while not being generally symmetrical. By comparison, asymmetry in biology appears to be fairly uncommon.

Does this imply that symmetry is preferred by evolution? According to a recent study headed by Iain Johnston, a professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Bergen in Norway, the answer is yes.

Even though symmetrical structures account for just a small percentage of all potential shapes — at least in geometry – symmetry appears in living beings. It’s not only a matter of physical type, though.

Proteins, the body’s molecular machinery, are also essentially symmetrical, consisting of a set of recurring, modular pieces. Animals, too, have repetitive structures; consider centipedes, which have repeated body segments.

This apparent “preference” is not motivated by aesthetic considerations. Instead, it boils down to simplicity, according to the experts.

In the current study, Johnston and his co-authors write, “It might be tempting to infer that symmetry and modularity result via natural selection.” Because advantageous features aid survival, natural selection might encourage them to grow more widespread.

Natural selection, on the other hand, can only make a favorable feature more prevalent or eliminate a bad one; it can’t create new ones.

Natural selection may also appear to prefer symmetry because it is frequently presented with symmetrical forms to deal with. The most plausible explanation for why proteins and bodies are symmetrical is because more symmetrical, recurring forms develop in the first place, rather than because symmetry provides a survival benefit.

So, what causes this to occur? Because symmetrical shapes generally need less information to develop than asymmetrical forms, they have likely evolved more frequently and subsequently survived across evolutionary time.

In a statement, Johnston added, “Imagine having to teach a buddy how to tile a floor in as few words as possible.” “Place diamonds here, long rectangles here, wide rectangles here,’ you wouldn’t say. ‘Place square tiles all over the place,’ you’d say. And the result of this simple, straightforward technique is beautifully symmetrical.”

Using computational modeling, Johnston and his colleagues put the simplicity hypothesis to the test. The researchers discovered that random mutations are considerably more likely to produce basic genetic sequences than complicated ones after simulating protein evolution.

Natural selection can then take over and make use of those simple structures if they are good enough to accomplish their jobs. High-symmetry structures with low symmetry were seen in the researchers’ simulations as well as in real life.

The research gives a novel twist to the so-called endless monkey theorem, a well-known thought experiment in evolutionary biology. If a monkey types at random for an endless amount of time, as predicted by the theorem, it will eventually generate the whole works of Shakespeare (or perhaps the script for “Die Hard”).

Random mutations in DNA are essentially typing monkeys. It’s a given that given enough time (and monkeys), some clever mutations will emerge.

However, by the time a hypothetical monkey completes Shakespeare’s whole body of work, the hardworking creature will have typed a significant number of little poems. Likewise, biology relies solely on genetic instructions generated at random (much like the work of a random number generator).

Unstoppable, Shadow Recruit’s Jack Ryan In his next action movie The Contractor, Chris Pine will once again struggle to avoid the nefarious adversaries.


Under the auspices of Thunder Road Films, which created the John Wick series, Tarik Saleh directs the film, which is supported by Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee.

Synopsis of the movie:

The action-thriller follows James Harper (Christopher Pine), who has been dismissed from the US-SF (US special forces) and now goes overseas on a clandestine assignment to support his family.

To support his family, James Harper (Pine) is involuntarily released from the United States Army Special Forces and joins a private contracting firm with his closest buddy (Foster) and under the direction of a fellow veteran (Sutherland). Harper is on a clandestine assignment overseas and must avoid assassination attempts while returning home.

Production of The Contractor:

Chris Pine is expected to feature in the film, which was revealed in May 2019.

 

Ben Foster and Gillian Jacobs were added to the cast in October. Filming began in October 2019 in the United States and will conclude later that year in Europe. Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee of Thunder Road Films are producing the film, with Esther Hornstein co-producing.

STXfilms bought the film’s distribution rights in February 2021. The film was supposed to be released on December 10, 2021, however, it was pushed back to March 18, 2022, and then to April 1, 2022.

The film was announced in May 2019 and went on the floors in October 2019, with production wrapping in 2019. The film was originally titled The Violence of Action but was renamed The Contractor in November 2019.

The film’s distribution rights were bought by Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment and Showtime in February 2022. The picture will be released simultaneously in restricted theatres and on premium video-on-demand by Paramount, with the film airing on Paramount+ and Showtime later this year.

Ana de Armas will reconnect with Chris Evans, her Knives Out co-star, in the upcoming film Ghosted, produced by Apple Original Films.

The 33-year-old actress will portray the leading lady in the film, which is characterized as a high-concept romantic action adventure.

According to Deadline, she will be replacing Scarlett Johansson, Evans’ regular co-star, who has withdrawn from the film owing to a schedule difficulty.

Ghosted will be directed by Dexter Fletcher, who is known for films such as Rocketman and Eddie the Eagle. Meanwhile, Evans will be an executive producer and a producer on the picture.

The plot of the film is still unknown. Along with Johansson, she has worked on a number of projects.

De Armas has a busy schedule ahead of her, with three films slated to be released in 2022, including Deep Water, which she will star in her ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck.

She’ll also star opposite Evans in Netflix’s The Gray Man, and she’ll play Marilyn Monroe in Netflix’s Blonde.

She’s also believed to be the leading lady in the thriller Ballerina, a spin-off from the John Wick franchise.

The plot revolves around a teenage ballerina-turned-assassin who seeks vengeance for her family’s death. This ballerina figure had a brief cameo in the current John Wick film, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, released in 2019.

Shay Hatten, who co-wrote Parabellum with franchise creator Derek Kolstad and Chris Wiseman, will direct from a script by Wiseman.

Chris Evans and Ana de Armas were recently spotted on the set of Ghosted in Atlanta. The film is described as an action-adventure romance in the vein of Romancing the Stone.

I love it when a project is referred to as Romancing the Stone – there aren’t nearly enough of them, despite the fact that The Lost City, starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, and Brad Pitt, is due out in a few weeks.

Ana and Chris will not be the only ones sharing a screen in the near future. The two will also star in the forthcoming spy thriller The Gray Man, which will be released in theatres in July 2022.

The second thing about Romancing the Stone that makes me laugh is that, well, I’m not sure anyone under the age of 30 understands the allusion. Perhaps not even those under the age of 40.

There will be a generation, if not two, of filmgoers that turn to The Lost City and Ghosted for inspiration in this genre. Ana and Chris are around the same age as Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas were when they made their movie, which is fascinating (or maybe just to me).

Originally, Scarlett Johansson was cast opposite Chris in this film. When Scarlett pulled out, Ana stepped in, and while Chris hasn’t worked with Ana as much as he has with Scarlett, the two have become friends.

On a desolate midnight street, a baby in a pram sits alone. A young mother lies on a bed, her limbs shackled and her head veiled. A teen girl cowers in the face of bullies who threaten to set her on fire.

Kate Dolan’s You Are Not My Mother is a 2021 Irish psychological horror film she wrote and directed. Char (Hazel Doupe) is a young lady at odds with her grandma Rita (Ingrid Craigie) when her mother Angela (Carolyn Bracken) goes absent for a short time before reappearing with a completely different personality.

At the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival, the film premiered in the Midnight Madness stream, where it was selected first runner up for the People’s Choice Award: Midnight Madness.

These are just a handful of the horrific visuals in Kate Dolan’s enthralling debut film, “You Are Not My Mother,” a spine-inducing blend of Irish mythology and family secrets. The picture hovers nervously about Char (Hazel Doupe), a reclusive and tormented girl who’s growing increasingly frightened by her mother, Angela’s, strange conduct (Carolyn Bracken).

When Angela vanishes, only to reappearance the next day without explanation, the intrigue surrounding her whereabouts is only heightened by the nonchalant attitude of her boyfriend.

“You Are Not My Mother,” set just outside Dublin during the run-up to Halloween, leaves most of its supernatural thrust to ambiguity and allusion, instead of focusing on Char’s reactions to her mother’s horrific change.

Doupe is devastating, pale-faced, and wide-eyed; yet, Bracken is the more difficult character to play, swinging from antagonistic to loving, stern to vulnerable, enthusiastic to near-catatonic.

She steadily transforms a simple dance into a terrifying act of predation in one astonishing moment set to Joe Dolan’s toe-tapper “You’re Such a Good Looking Woman.”

 

“You Are Not My Mother” is imaginative and eerie, demonstrating how terrifying — and stigmatizing — a parent’s mental illness can be to a kid. She’s trapped in a stifling suburb, where steel-colored sky press down on crouching rooftops (the beautifully evocative phrase “trapped in a suffocating suburb” comes to mind).
