Christina Ricci Joins the Voice Cast of the Podcast “Harley Quinn & the Joker” Know The Details

The upcoming Harley Quinn and The Joker: Sound Mind audio series, which will launch, will star Christina Ricci as the legendary Harleen Quinzel.

Ricci (Yellowjackets, The Matrix Resurrections, The Addams Family) will play the Joker, and Bruce Wayne/Batman will be played by Justin Hartley (This Is Us). Eli Horowitz, who worked on the written Audio series Homecoming, conceived the show.

As the listeners get to know Harley, she reads a number of official documents while working with Harleen Quinzel, a talented psychotherapist in Gotham City, who had the hordes of people working in order to assist the patients their coworkers had written off the talk. He is ill and is married with a little child.

A procedure that could save Harleen’s life is beyond her means. Harleen makes a fatal decision to try to locate what she needs and then lead them on a risky path that will change their lives forever when he encounters patient J, a violent criminal with a strange power.

Following the success of the smash show Batman: Unburied, which immediately rose to the top of the Spotify podcast rankings in 17 markets, this is the second time that Spotify has worked with Warner Bros. and DC as part of their multi-year contract to generate audio content. There hasn’t yet been a final release of Harley Quinn and The Joker: Sound Mind.

To head the voice cast for a new Spotify podcast that tells Harley Quinn’s origin tale from the perspective of the character, American star Christina Ricci has been chosen.

By the rumors, Ricci will be accompanied by Batman, played by Justin Hartley, and The Joker, played by Billy Magnussen.

The series, which is now in development, was created by “Homecoming” writer and executive producer Eli Horowitz and tells Harley Quinn’s tale from her point of view rather than the Joker’s.

As Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a leading psychologist at Arkham Asylum who is desperate to assist the patients her colleagues have given up on, Quinn is still known to the audience at the start of the series.

“But Harleen can’t afford to pay for her dad’s pricey, life-saving surgery because he is ill. Therefore, when she encounters “Patient J,” a peculiar criminal who appears to have a strange power over everyone but her, Harleen makes the crucial choice to use their relationship to further her goals, sending them both down a perilous path that will forever alter their lives “The official logline for the show reads.

The second audio series to be made available as part of a multi-year license agreement between Spotify and Warner Bros./DC is titled “Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind.”
The first, “Batman Unburied,” gained popularity quickly and peaked at number one on Spotify charts in 17 different territories, briefly unseating “The Joe Rogan Experience” in the US.

According to sources, the radio drama produced by David S. Goyer and starring Winston Duke as Batman has been given a second season.
