The Executive Producer of the Boys Season 3 Speaks on the Surprising Doctor Strange 2, Know More

Ms. Marvel, directed by Iman Vellani, is the next big project for Marvel fans. The Disney+ series is set to be a coming-of-age drama reminiscent of Spider-Man: Homecoming’s joyful themes. The Boys, on the other hand, is a whole different superhero show that just released three new episodes.

The Karl Urban-led drama is violent, loud, filthy, and absolutely insane, and it couldn’t be more unlike the next MCU adventure.

On top of that, it’s a satire of the superhero genre as a whole, which is one of its best aspects. The show’s second season made a point of criticising Avengers: Endgame’s huge female team-up scene, with the writers explaining their stance by arguing that the entire sequence was pandering.

With Season 3 just starting, many viewers were likely surprised to find the surprising Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness link in the first few minutes of the debut. Now, however, it has been shown that the entire situation was entirely inadvertent.

Writer and director and executive producer Erik Kripke discussed one of the many elephants in the room in an interview with Variety about The Boys’ Season 3 premiere: that big Charlize Theron cameo.
In the initial minutes of the in-universe Vought-produced movie Dawn of the Seven, viewers are treated to a pivotal showdown between The Seven and Stormfront in the first episode of Season 3.

Rather than being played by Aya Cash, as she is in that universe’s actual life, Charlize Theron is revealed to be the new fictitious version. In Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the actress made a big cameo as Clea, a purple-energy superhero.

Connections between The Boys:

It’s a funny coincidence that Charlize Theron had two major superhero cameos within a few months of each other. The Physician Unusual half, on the other hand, is the one you’ll most likely stick with. That said, her character may return in The Boys at some point; it hasn’t been established whether she’s a regular performer or a supe playing a part.
While Charlize Theron’s outfit could have been an accident, Laurie Holden’s Crimson Countess was on purpose. As a former member of the superhero team Payback, she makes her appearance in The Boys’ third season, and her outfits and energy set are eerily similar to Scarlet Witch’s.

After all, there’s Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy, a spin on Chris Evans’ Captain America who could play a pivotal role in Season 3’s plot. This season, The Boys is having a blast with its Marvel parodies.
No superhero property is off-limits in the Amazon Prime universe, so it’s not like they’re all picking Marvel and the studios’ work. Despite everything, the film’s central antagonist is a Superman rip-off.
Season 3 of The Boys is now available on Amazon Prime, and Physician Unusual in the Multiverse of Insanity will premiere on Disney+ on June 22.
