CD Projekt Red has been on the move with Cyberpunk and the cyberpunk genre. Recent delays about the game left fans wanting to cancel their orders and go on all-out riot against the studio. However, in just a small period of time, it seems as if the whole situation has turned on its head.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners in collaboration with a Japanese an anime Studio Trigger and the all so popular streaming service Netflix has announced a totally standalone 10 episode anime series based on the nightlife in the Cyberpunk universe. While the stories of both the game and the anime don’t intersect, they’re both set in the same world with a totally different angle.
With new massive reveals from the studios, the hype keeps on building up. This time around its with an anime series. Anime enthusiasts from the get-go love the idea of a cyberpunk genre title and while there haven’t been many to go on with, they’re just left wanting more.
The aim for having an anime series according to the studio is that it acts as a gateway for more fans and enthusiasts to join the Cyberpunk genre and universe. Daredevil’s popularity has been on the rise ever since the Netflix TV Show took off and took the modern superhero world by storm. Introducing a fresh take on the classic hero formula the Daredevil character is something fans admire for being extremely well written and organized.
However, things don’t stop here. Troy Baker, famous artist and Marvel Games head have previously been in a fun banter giving subtle hints to a Daredevil game in production. While it seemed far fetched more like something out of fun and boredom yet there has been a follow up to that. The now-deleted tweet by Bill Roseman directly confronted Troy with a statement saying that anything he tweets would make headlines.

Despite that, the show was cancelled after having only 3 renewals. However, Marvel seems to be on the move with its comic-book affiliated videogames. With the success of the Spider-Man series and now the upcoming Avengers it seems that they plan on making a complete universe.
Having said that he also quoted legendary Stan Lee’s “Nuff Said, True Believers!”
While little to no concrete information is given about the actual production of the game. It can’t just be pure coincidence especially with Troy Baker on board with voicing DD. It seems as if they’re trying to start off a whole new universe in the gaming world while we await further concrete proof.
Marvel’s Avengers set to release on all the current generation platforms really didn’t raise many eyebrows. While the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is undeniably something many franchises aspire to be the game’s first trailer seemed like a less entertaining version of the movies.
However, despite all that criticism Marvel’s Avengers has potential and hope. Despite having such unreasonable works of art to compare it with the studio worked hard and kept on going in its own direction away from all the mainstream MCU world.
The final story trailer for the Avengers was revealed today showcased a story revolving around Ms Marvel regrouping the Avengers in a world threatened by the mastermind M.O.D.O.K. Filled with immersive storyline and emotions the game is certainly more than what meets the eye.
Many folks sidelined the game at launch stating that the game looks rather bizarre and could never stand up to the Avengers name built by the movies. It seems as if they were rather quick to judge and that this final trailer shows a totally different approach to the classic Avengers threat.
Focussing more towards the end goal, directed in a manner unique to Marvel movies and the fact that all this playable on your favourite platform is something to look forward to. Despite its questionable looks, the game looks more promising than many made it out to be.
The bug bounty program has been around for quite some time over on other platforms and products. The basic concept allows hackers from all over the globe to exploit the products in various degrees and is then rewarded accordingly.
Sony has had its fair share of failures when it comes to its PlayStation Network and the PlayStation itself. Today PlayStation announced that it’ll be going live with its bug bounty program. Previously operating under the shadows to select hackers and programmers the program aims to target a wider audience, gamers included.
Where they’ll be rewarded accordingly to exploit issues with the PS4 itself or the PS Network. Rewards for critical exploits go as far as $50,000. Taking the overall PlayStation experience into consideration it is no wonder that Sony would go to extreme lengths to further simplify the experience.
Partnered with HackerOne this wide program is to target hackers, programmers and gamers alike. With one sole purpose of improving the gaming experience on the PlayStation. Previously only being run privately it seems that Sony has gotten serious about its exploits.
The most recent one being the spoiler leak of The Last of Us Part 2 is definitely a learning experience for the brand and it seems that they plan on taking steps towards the right direction to avoid such catastrophic results. Damaging not only its reputation but the player base’s expectations.
Ghost of Tsushima is one of the two end-of-generation exclusives for the PS4 has had hype built up from the very first day since its announcement. Despite the hype built up by Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2, Suckerpunch has managed to go head to head relaying exceptional trailers, gameplay and much more.
A new unlisted video published on the PlayStation YouTube channel showcased the stance change during combat in the game. While the information itself seems trivial yet they showcase just shows how much time the studio has spent on perfecting the game. Fans clearly have high hopes for the title and spirits run high after countless demos.
With fans going all out mad on Naughty Dog for causing such an immense disappointment in fans, more and more people have set their eyes on Ghost of Tsushima. The fact that a proper samurai game hasn’t taken place before keeps the idea fresh and innovative.
The stance change as the name indicates alters the stance of the samurai allowing for a different line of attack towards enemies who seem to be aware of the orthodox methods. The video also shows a little combat which is further polished it seems after its reveal in the State of Play stream.
Overall the visuals look more than just breathtaking and more and more fans are excited for the game to get released soon.
Fortnite’s been on the verge of normalizing virtual events and concerts to the mass public. With world-famous artists like Diplo, Travis Scott and many more focussing more towards these virtual concerts, it seems that the hype keeps on building.
As more and more artists join in the bandwagon it is clear that the Fortnite concert idea is to transform into a whole separate platform. As of June 25th, 9 PM ET Diplo, Noah Cyrus and Young Thug are to make a live mainstage appearance in the game. Presented solely by Diplo it seems like there’s a lot more to these Fortnite events than meets the eye.
As I’ve talked about countless times how these events play a key role not only during this pandemic but overall for folks unable to go out or visit their favourite artists. Moreover, the online platform also targets a much wider audience hence keeping up with modern-day standards and statistics.
All this allows Fortnite to stay somewhat on the top of the relevancy mountain even after all these years. Constant content and updates added by Epic Games keep Fortnite fresh for players and with occasional events like this one help gain the attention of non-gamers as well. Previously Nintendo talked about how it’s sole business opportunity is to target non-gamers into playing their games. It seems that Fortnite has a somewhat similar strategy with mainstream artists joining their platform.
Crash Bandicoot being one of the most iconic titles on the original PlayStation is back with a direct sequel to the legendary trilogy that set the standards for modern-day gaming as we know it.
The all-new Crash Bandicoot 4 is a direct successor to the trilogy that spanned over 20 years and with it come to a few twists and turns making it all the more fun fit for your 2020. The saga continues directly from the third part where it’s up to Crash, Coco and friends to save the multiverse from the evil by travelling through time and space.
Moreover, there have been more than just a few redesigns fit for our modern-day graphics. With mesmerizing detailed environments, massive landscapes and beautiful lighting the classic arcade looks better than ever.
Activision announced that the game is set to release this October the 2nd with a launch offer of the new Tubular skins for Crash and Coco. Moreover, the studio has gone through a totally brand new combo mechanism with more powers, moves and general variety. With dozens of brand new levels mixed with the fan favourite combo of Bandicoot physics and mechanics, fans couldn’t have asked for more.
Crash holds a definite place in everyone’s heart and with it, preorders are now live with the game starting at $59.99 at the PSN store.
The Last of Us Part 2 is finally out and rolling on the PlayStation 4. Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated titles of this year the game’s been the centre of attention all around the web ever since its release day.
However, not everyone was happy with what the game brought to the consumers. In fact, many fans were quite vocal about how they were utterly disappointed by the storyline of the game and the fact that they didn’t have to make a sequel if they were to ruin it as they did.
Despite all that the game managed to top over the UK charts smashing a well-deserved victory with over 76% higher sales than its predecessor on the PS3. Moreover, it set the record for being the most sold boxed game in the UK with a huge 40% victory over the previous record holder, Nintendo’s very own Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Although the game itself was well-received all around and only praises were heard, there was a huge backlash mostly due to the spoilers leaked earlier this year. It seemed as if the whole fiasco left a sour flavour in everyone’s mouth. Despite that, there were no stopping fans from trying out their favourite game from Naughty Dog.
With PS4 living in its final phase, it is truly amazing how the keeps up even after the announcement of the PS5. Kudos to the developers to keep delivering on their promises despite all those setbacks.
Nintendo shares shot past the 50,000 Yen barrier in Tokyo just this Thursday as sources claim. In these tough times of the ongoing pandemic, Nintendo’s stock presence was under a threat however the gap was quickly covered up.
With more and more folks staying at home, the handheld hybrid console saw a boost in popularity as more and more places were sold out and demand increased. Moreover, the announcements of new games by Nintendo played a key role in raking in the profits. Pokemon snap supposedly having a sequel on the Switch including a special “Big News” from the devs seemingly played as catalysts in this sudden burst.
Furthermore, the ongoing pandemic also saw more and more players enjoying indie titles true to Nintendo’s roots including the ever so famous Animal Crossing. Having an emulator expansion namely Animal Crossing: Horizons also allowed for a huge influx of players coming in from all sorts of backgrounds only to enjoy the simplistic achievements of the studio.
All these events led the shares to shoot past 2.7% in Tokyo. The last time the shares broke past the 50k barrier was in 2007 when the Wii was on the high tide with unbeatable popularity reaching over 70,000 Yen.
Over the past couple of months it was clear that the Japanese giant was struggling yet it finally came forward and all these events resulted in a record high tide in over 12 years.
The Playstation 5 is set to make its debut later this year and the arsenal of titles revealed by Sony has been impressive, to say the least. With all its flashy appearances the PS5 does in fact hold a surprising amount of firepower.
Taking advantage of the PS5’s features an indie studio, Ember Labs has come forward with a uniquely beautiful action-adventure title for the PS5. Kena: Bridge of Spirits reveal trailer showcases a unique storyline filled with magic and emotion where players enjoy beautifully animated combat driven mechanics and upgrade thanks to spirits called the Rot to move their way up the ladder.
The game’s direction is undoubtedly something out of an animated movie and the details of the world definitely feels next generation, to say the least. Having started from animated adverts to making an indie title the studio itself has come a long way and the way they’ve produced this is nothing short of exciting.
The game itself feels like something fit for the Nintendo Switch and while the PS5 may be able to render photorealistic graphics, having an arcade adventure game is something enjoyable for gamers of all backgrounds.
The game itself is a timed exclusive on the PS5 and would, later on, be available on PC. Not much is known about the release window yet Animaniacs would definitely be waiting eagerly for further details.
As Samsung moves deeper into 2020, leaks and rumors regarding Samsung’s next flagship, namely, the Galaxy Note 20 series have begun emerging.
The latest leaks are coming in from trusty @UniverseIce via Twitter revealing a host of internals and details regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. According to the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra would be the highest-end variant of the Galaxy Note 20 series, and would feature internals far beyond what the Note 20 and Note 20 Lite would feature under their hoods. Additionally, unlike the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, Samsung is planning to go aggressive with the curves on the Galaxy Note 20 shedding concerns about whether Samsung had finally had enough of their curved displays, a trend it had pioneered since the inception of the Galaxy Note Edge back in the day, later to be caught on by its rivals.
Note20 Ultra is not a micro-curved similar to S20, but a steep curved similar to Note10+.
Regarding the internals revealed by Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is expected to feature a Snapdragon 865+ SoC, countering Meizu’s claim where they had suggested that the 865+ may not exist and further affirming the existence of the Snapdragon 865+ leaks from the ROG Phone 3 that has also been leaking alongside the Note 20. Additional specifications include a QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, with the option to actually have both, QHD+ and 120Hz enabled simultaneously as well as much improved camera and S-Pen features yet to be revealed.
Furthermore, what’s interesting is how Samsung continues to distinguish their S-series of flagships and Note-series of devices in the design department. As it seems, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 would follow the same boxy design of the Note 10, unlike the much curvy and subtler S20.
Samsung’s expected to reveal the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 by August if they’re on time, but there’s no telling whether the whole pandemic affects Samsung’s usual releases this year.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is undoubtedly one of the best arcade fighting games out there. The franchise has been actively introducing more and more iconic characters and while the sequel may be available the original holds up quite well even today.
In times of distress and self-isolation having a free to play title is nothing short of a blessing. Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition goes completely free on Steam starting today in a limited time offer. The offer is to last till June 26th. The game’s ultimate edition adds more fun content to the already fun fighting game with new characters, skins and S.T.A.R Labs missions.
Moreover, the real appeal starts at the system requirements of the game. Despite its impressive and immersive gameplay, the game is well, old and that results in a substantially less demanding hardware threshold. The ability to run even on 32 bit systems with 2GB ram and integrated graphics is something to look out for when considering the masses.
Not everyone can afford decent beefy hardware PC’s and hence this further sweetens the deal allowing for literally anyone that has a PC from the past 10 years to be able to run the game swiftly. Aside that hurry up and redeem your free copy of the game since the deal only stays valid for a week.
Its been over a decade since the classic skateboarding games were last heard of. Namely Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and the Skate franchise. The games were an instant hit but over time their popularity seemed to be on the decline with not much innovation being brought about in comparison to other genres.
However, 2020 seems to be the year for the skateboarding genre to make a comeback. Previously we were showcased the full-fledged remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2. The games are set to make their debut later this year. But it turns out that the folks over at EA are on their way to make an additional Skate game.
Kept secret until now the team behind the classic franchise got together and revealed in a short video tweet that they’ve been waiting for the perfect moment and the right time to make their way back into the consumer market. While little to no information was given about the game itself since it’s still in its very early stages.
Fans couldn’t have been happier. Having not one but two of their favourite skateboard franchises making their way back in all-out current generation style is something enthusiasts been waiting for long. Moreover, the nostalgia factor would play a huge role for many.
All in all, Skate is back! and both the devs and the fans couldn’t have been happier. A surprising reveal for sure but a welcome one.
Asus’s next big thing, the ROG Phone 3 is yet to be released. After amazing everyone with the launch of the ROG Phone 2, fans of the ROG Phone 2 have high hopes from the practicality king. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has had its initial round of leaks murmuring on the internet over the past month or two. However, we hadn’t seen an actual ROG Phone 3 until yet.
Courtesy of LeakSpinner (via Slashleaks), we finally have our first look at the ROG Phone 3 on camera, revealing what seems to be a decent design overhaul over the ROG Phone 2. Now if you followed or owned the ROG Phone 2 from last year, you may know that the ROG Phone 2 came in two variants, the ROG Phone 2 Tencent Edition as well as the ROG Phone 2 International/Strix Edition. Both variants came in two radically different price ranges as well as some twists on the overall back design between both of the variants. It seems like this year, the ROG Phone 3 Tencent Edition and International Edition would share the same design it seems.
Not only does the ROG Phone 3 Tencent Edition in the picture feature a glossy back, suggesting a much more uniform design across its variants, but it also reveals a slightly different design overhaul, featuring rounded edges around the camera as well as a curvy triangle vent hood, compared to the aggressive designs of the ROG Phone 3. With classic ROG Phone aesthetics, we could still see the usual silver lines as well as the RGB ROG logo behind the phone.
Regarding the front of the phone, that’s one area that’s yet to be leaked, but would be surprised if there are any radical design overhauls up front.
Moving onto the leaks from Tenaa, the Asus ROG Phone 3 is going to be no slouch at all. In fact, Asus is making sure that that the ROG Phone 3 doesn’t appear to be a minimal upgrade over its predecessor. According to Tenaa, the following are the specs of the ROG Phone 3.
Some extra points to be noted include the dual-Type-C ports on the side of the phone to allow the ROG Phone 3 to sport gaming hardware seamlessly as well as the bump up on the overall weight of the phone.
Regarding the pricing of the phone, we could only hope Asus doesn’t follow suit alongside most of the brands in the pricing department. The Asus ROG Phone 3 Tencent/Strix Edition retailed for $549. Meanwhile the International variant of the device retailed for around $899. Given the recent price hikes, usually blamed on the inclusion of 5G technology, we could only speculate a $650 price tag for the Tencent Edition of the phone and a $1050 price tag on the international variant of the device. But that’s just pure speculation at this point. Hopefully Asus does consider some reductions, even so how OnePlus has done recently by excluding 5G in certain markets to bring the price of their OnePlus 8 series of devices down.
Lately, there has been a lot of chaos in the gaming community regarding the move to delay cyberpunk 2077 further by two whole months. While nobody likes to wait for their favourite most anticipated title however the reasons provided by the studio were valid as well.
Nobody likes a broken game at launch and that always leaves a sour taste in everyone’s mouth. However, among all this negativity CD Projekt Red has come forward with a surprisingly good offer for the PlayStation 5. The studio confirmed that those who purchased the game on the PS4 would be able to play the game on the PS5 with a day one patch.
Moreover, they stated that the patch won’t be the last update to the game and while the immediate playability is nothing short of amazing the studio plans on doing a complete remaster on next-generation consoles scheduled for around 2021-2022. What’s surprising is that the original owners of the game would be able to play and enjoy the game on next-gen consoles completely free.
While the day one playability is only yet confirmed for the Playstation we might as well expect the same for the Xbox One. While the remaster is pretty much confirmed and the same rules apply for the Xbox Series X.
All of that would definitely motivate fans to continue their undying support for the studio and hopefully make up for all the lost hope.
It almost seems like an eternity since the first look to cyberpunk 2077 was revealed way back years ago. It’s almost funny now given how much the game itself has been pushed further and further over time. First, it was due to technical concerns then the COVID-19 pandemic caused various delays.
Now it seems that the game would move from its previous release on September 17th to November 19th. The basic explanation provided by CD Projekt Red is that the game is complete including the dialogues, cutscenes and everything in between however with a game with such a vast world an abundance of bugs are to be found.
According to their press release the studio is taking all this time to sand out all the rough edges and bring a once and for all seamless gaming experience. It is true that CD Projekt Red has been one of the more perfectionism based studios yet having to wait so much cant be justified no matter what.
Furthermore, fans are in flames, many even going as far as cancelling their pre-orders out of rage. It seems that the pushed release might as well hide an ulterior motive according to many Reddit theories like having a release window on next-generation consoles.
All in all, it seems that we’d have to wait a few more months. Considering the studio’s attention to detail if the title remains to have bugs and issues fans would reasonably be enraged.

Witcher 3’s been an excellent RPG of this past generation. The game’s beautiful visuals, mesmerizing gameplay and engaging storyline all played a key role in bringing success to CD Projekt Red’s most ambitious title at the time.
With the post-Netflix influx of players trying out the Witcher 3, there’s indeed some good news for enthusiasts. A promotional offer provided by CD Projekt Red’s GOG games department allows the player to redeem the GOG version of the game for FREE. Given that they already own a copy on Console or PC. This goes for both the standard and GOTY editions. However, folks who’ve purchased add-ons separately won’t be able to redeem them.
Moreover, since no true integration exists between Nintendo Switch users hence folks on the Switch won’t be able to join in on the offer. The offer itself is to last for a limited 7 day period until June 23rd, 11 am UTC. Enthusiasts who already own the GOG version of the game can still take advantage of the offer by claiming a free redeemable code for their fellow friends depending on the version they own.
With the relevancy of the Witcher Lore gaining more and more traction over time this offer’s a great way for CD Projekt Red to rake them in towards their platform. The offer itself is only to last a few days so go on and redeem yourself a free copy and add it to your library.
It seems like Samsung isn’t done with their Tab series. Despite Apple getting a ton of praise for their excellent tablets, Samsung is continuing to plough through with their line of tablets. Their upcoming release, supposedly dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has just made its first round on Geekbench.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has had a few of its details leaked this week, including the addition of 5G and a 120Hz display. Today’s round of leaks come courtesy of Geekbench, leaking the score as well as some internals we should expect from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.
Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 supposedly, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 (SM-T976B) managed to score 4,277 in the single-core department and 123286 in the multi-core department, right in-line with what you would expect from a Snapdragon 865. Other details revealed by the leak include 6GB of memory and a somewhat fresh install of Android 10.
All of these additions would definitely allow the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 to be able to compete with the rest of the competition, at least initially. It’ll be interesting to see what Samsung has in store for the device and if we’re yet to see some unique details regarding the device moving forward.
Regarding the release date, while nothing has been revealed yet, this is just about the usual time Samsung releases their Tab series of devices, unless Samsung has something unique planned out.
Regarding pricing, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 coming with a $700~ price tag. Especially with the addition of the new 5G model and 120Hz displays.
After months of hype, Sony finally revealed the PlayStation 5 to the masses today.
Unlike previous installations, the PlayStation 5 comes with radical design changes, and would also come in two variants, the normal PlayStation 5 that we all expected, as well as the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, showcasing Sony’s push towards a digital future.
While Sony is certainly introducing some major upgrades to the PlayStation 5’s internals, it does highlight what Sony has in store moving forward. The new radical design of the PlayStation 5 features a curvy design throughout, moving away from its classic razor like design cues from 2013 and even the much lighter PlayStation 4 designs.
Alongside the release of the PlayStation 5 consoles, Sony also revealed a host of new accessories that would be inheriting the PlayStation naming scheme that would go along incredibly well with the PlayStation 5. The new accessories include a new PlayStation headset, dubbed the Pulse 3D, Dualsense controllers, media remote and even a docking station for the new PlayStation 5 controllers. If that wasn’t enough, Sony’s also releasing an HD camera alongside the PlayStation 5.
If you’re not a fan of the white color scheme that Sony has ongoing this year, Sony has two more consoles to reveal, dubbed the PlayStation 5 Miles Morales Edition as well as the PlayStation 5 Black Edition.
Sony’s yet to release any release dates for the PlayStation 5, but has everyone’s sights set for the holiday season. There’s still much more to come, and as time progresses and time heat from Microsoft begins building up, it would be interesting to see if Sony reveals a few more tricks that it may be hiding under it’s sleeve.
Journey has been one of the most popular indie games on the PlayStation platform as a whole. With its relaxing visuals and gameplay mechanics, the title was an instant success. Following the game “Flower” that caught the eye of many thanks to its unique concept and music Journey took that feeling to a whole new level.
Journey makes its way on Steam today with a special offer available for a limited time. The offer includes a 25% discount from the original $5.99 price with a special bundle including “Flower” for a limited time. While the game itself has aged quite a bit the visuals just seem to stun enthusiasts even today.
With many PlayStation original games making their way on PC with likes of major exclusives including Horizon Zero Dawn, Detroit: Become Human and many more, it seems as if the whole approach of first-party games has shifted a great deal.
One noticeable fact would be that the game went free on the PSN store recently along with the Nathan Drake Collection as a quarantine bundle for PlayStation users. Although Journey is quite old and is indeed an Indie title however it does pave a pathway for other exclusive titles over from Sony.
Journey_20200419050155
Considering how Sony’s been willingly providing full-fledged exclusives on PC after a certain time period it is only natural for us fans to expect more towards the cause.
For the time moment let us enjoy Journey’s bundle on Steam. Despite the game going free on PSN it seemingly is a valued deal considering the bundle moreover the minimalist system requirements.
As we move deeper into 2020, anticipation for the upcoming consoles from both, Sony and Microsoft, the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X are ramping up.
Alongside some incredible hardware improvements to Sony’s new feature-rich console, we should also expect some major improvements upcoming to the PlayStation 5. A concept published by, Joshua Oluwagbemiga, would take anyone aback given how clean of a design the concept brings to life.
The new UI blends in some modern minimalist boxy designs along with some curvy designs across the board. From the boxy login screen to the curvy, yet minimalist fonts scattered across the display, its amazing. Given how over the past few years dark UI design has taken over pretty much everything you could think of, its only suffice to predict that Sony might be baking some dark themes into the PS5 as well.
Sony’s PS4 interface has received consistent updates over the past few years. However, its about time the new console gets a fresh look, keeping up with modern UI design.
As we move deeper into 2020, I personally can’t be more excited to see what Sony has in store for the PlayStation 5, especially given how the PlayStation 5 would support 120Hz refresh rates out of the box, meaning that all of these animations would look crazy smooth when paired with a high-refresh rate display.
EA has made a ton of fans happy with the launch of Need For Speed Heat. With the game being out for less than a year, EA set its sights on the development of yet another Need For Speed title.
Matt Webster, the General Manager at Criterion Games announced the news over a blog post where he highlighted the brief highlights of what to expect from the NFS franchise moving forward. He highlighted that Need For Speed: Heat would finally have cross-play support across all platforms beginning on June the 9th, requiring users to install the latest update. With the update, players on consoles and PCs alike would be able to tear down the streets moving forward.
At Criterion, we’ve always believed that games are better with friends. We don’t want your platform of choice to be a barrier for that experience. So we’re thrilled to let you all know that on June 9, Need for Speed Heat will be the first EA title to offer cross-play, meaning that players – regardless of their platform – can jump into Palm City together as one, united community.
Matt Webster, Criterion Games
Matt Webster continued by announcing that this would be the very last update coming to the game, moving forward.
With Need For Speed Heat being a unique, yet somewhat nostalgic vibes back to the franchise, there’s no telling what EA’s next game has in store.
As we move down the year, we personally can’t wait to see what EA has in store. Hopefully EA announces the game or reveals details regarding this mysterious sequel as the new consoles from both, Microsoft and Sony begin to roll in.
Its been a century since the foundations of what we now know as Mazda was laid back in 1920. Unarguably one of the most innovative and striding Japanese manufacturers, Mazda’s input in the motorsport world has been immense and what better way to pay tribute than introduce two special events.
Gran Turismo Sport’s newest update that goes live features the brand new RX-Vision GT3 Concept that was introduced by Mazda way back in 2015 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The significance of this concept is the history behind it and the rotary engine which has been Mazda’s symbol for the RX series. The first iteration introduced way back in the 60s being inefficient, problematic and having major design flaws, Mazda kept at it improving their design slowly but surely.
Finally to reap the victory at the 1991 Le Mans 24 Hour Endurance Race in their 787B. Taking inspiration from its ancestors the design is an updated 4-rotor engine brought back to life using SKYACTIV technology. Pair that with our modern technology and we’ve got ourselves a beast. Immensely lightweight body paired with something like is sure to post results on the table.
Starting from tonight the newest update brings in two brand new events focussed solely on Mazda. The “RX-Vision GT3 Concept Time Trial Challenge,” and the “RX-Vision GT3 Concept Livery Design Contest.” bring in a competition for enthusiasts to hit the asphalt with their performance GT3 unparalleled to any other out there and feel the speed.
As a cherry on top, the winners of both the competitions would receive special prizes from Mazda including a miniature car and a limited edition sketch. So what are you waiting for? grab your controllers and get on with the celebration of Mazda’s centennial anniversary.
