Asus ROG Phone 3 Hits 160Hz With A Hidden Mod

0

Asus has just released the Asus ROG Phone 3 and it seems like enthusiasts are hard at work at unraveling anything they could in the developer community.

In an post published by XDA-Developers, developers have managed to enable yet another refresh rate option under the display settings of the Asus ROG Phone 3, adding an other 16Hz on top of the already incredibly fast 144Hz refresh rate.

Traditionally, Asus has advertised 144Hz as the max refresh rate on their phone alongside a 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz option for folks who want much more granular control over their refresh rate as most Android phones still lack any form of dynamic refresh rates.

Based off of the details published by the folks over at XDA, to enable the 160Hz option, you need a PC with access to an ADB terminal. Once you have access to the two requirements, simply run the following command in fastboot mode to enable 160Hz option:

adb shell setprop debug.vendor.asus.fps.eng 1

There’s no telling why Asus may want to disable and hide the option, but it could definitely be speculated that they may have done it as a lot of their display batches might have been unresponsive with a lucky few managing to hit 160Hz with full stability. But then again, but the law of diminishing returns kick in with anything above 120Hz.

With the numbers race being classically used to drive sales alongside gaming devices, we wouldn’t be surprised to see an Android device with a 240Hz display within the next couple of years.

Over 66% Of Gamers Don’t Play On Any Console, Leaving Massive Gap For An Eco-system Lock – Study Confirms

0

According to a study by folks over at NPD, the gamer segment bound by any sort of console commitment amounts to only about 33% of the total player base. Leaving opportunity for console makers to make use of untapped loyal customers. While the other 2/3rds of the market is bound by smaller platforms like PC, Mobile, Portable, VR etc.

It is true that we’ve seen drastic measures taken to transform the whole console market. Things haven’t been the same as they were five years ago, to say the least. With the reveal of next-generation consoles it is evident that consoles are approaching the whole PC experience resembling features both in terms of experience and hardware more than ever.

We’ve seen minute changes brought about especially with Microsoft. PC and Xbox no longer seem like different platforms rather a singular Windows platform with the amount of effort brought about by Microsoft. Of course, the Xbox Game Pass has done a lot towards the cause and it seems that the appeal of consoles has increased exponentially.

We’ve heard Nintendo talk about how they plan on bringing non-gamers towards their stress-free game ideology. However, considering the fact that over 66% of gamers seemingly have no commitment there’s a lot going to waste. The recent situation of social distancing has also sparked a sort of awakening amongst enthusiasts.

Valorant & The Last of Us Part 2 Push Digital Game Sales For June

0

The Last of Us Part 2 proved to lead the sales for Sony in its launch month despite being heavily criticized by fans and enthusiasts. As reported by SuperData, the digital sales of the game saw a massive leap as well as beating all previous records. Selling over 2.2M copies worldwide with the majority coming in from pre-orders.

Similarly, on PC, Valorant was launched as a free to play e-sports title fit to compete with the likes of Rainbow Six: Siege, CS: GO and more. While the game has had its fair share of issues, the free to play appeal never really died down allowing it to climb up the ranks beating Apex Legends and CS: GO both on PC.

Going digital with every major task has to be one of the inevitable changes in innovation brought on by tech giants. Tested to their true potential just this year thanks to the global pandemic crisis, the whole platform was benchmarked to its extreme.

We’ve been striving towards a completely digital future for quite some time now, working out digital events, studies, office work and of course video games. With the announcement of the PS5, the whole matter took a leap with Sony offering a completely digital PS5. With internet speeds getting better and better worldwide it is only natural for companies to focus more on digital releases.

The PS5 digital edition would definitely break the ice and give concrete proof as to where we stand in terms of digitalization of videogames.

According to the developers, the game shall arrive this fall for the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows 10 Microsoft Store. The game shall also be available on the Xbox Game Pass and Smart Delivery Programs when they are launched alongside the Xbox Series X console this Winter 2020. This is a timed exclusive which means that while these platforms will get the expansion pack in 2020, this will also arrive as a free update for the PlayStation 4, Epic Games Store, and Oculus Quest later in 2021.

Tetris Effect was initially released for the PlayStation 4 in 2018 and then for the PC in 2019. The game took classic Tetris and made it more up to date for current-gen consoles while adding support for VR. The game has amazing visuals and classic gameplay that won it the Best VR/AR Game at the 2018 Game Critics Awards. The game was very well received by both old and new players alike. Originally the game was singleplayer only with no local or online multiplayer, but the new multiplayer expansion seeks to fix just that

Tetris Effect: Connected, as the name suggests, brings a lot of new ways to play together with your friends and family while you enjoy the eye-catching gameplay and backgrounds together. It has an all-new co-op and competitive online modes which will allow you to play together or against other people online. The expansion pack includes new local multiplayer modes that will allow your friends and family to join you on the same couch. Since there is a competitive mode we also see matchmaking, ranked and unranked play, and a player progression system. The game shall support cross-play between all platforms.

Overall, this shall breathe new life into this marvelous game as solo-play can get boring after a while. This multiplayer expansion should give players a lot more hours of fun.

Ubisoft Confirms Standard $60 MSRP Games For Next-Gen Consoles?

0

Ubisoft has announced that their Next-Gen games launching this fall will be $60, the same as Current-Gen consoles. Games have been costing $60 for both Current-Gen consoles but that may not be the case going forward. Take-Two, however, has announced that its Next-Gen game NBA 2K21 will be costing $70 on both the PS5 and Xbox Series X. It is possible that games built only for Next-Gen consoles will cost $70, but Cross-Gen games remain at $60 which would make sense and explain the price difference for games from two different companies.

With the Next-Gen consoles on their way to consumers this winter, everyone has a lot of questions on their minds on various details and aspects of the Next-Gen experience. One of them is the pricing of both the Next-Gen consoles and their games which can make or break a gaming console’s sale numbers.

While there has yet to be an official announcement on the pricing of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, we expect it not to be too far off from Current-Gen consoles which were $399 for the PS4 and $499 for the Xbox. We do have some information regarding the pricing of Next-Gen games.

Microsoft has also hinted at dropping Xbox Live which is good news for gamers since they don’t have to pay an additional fee to play their games online. This wouldn’t be good for Microsoft however as a good chunk of their profit from Current-Gen consoles came from Xbox Live subscriptions. To compensate for this they may have to raise the base console prices for Next-Gen or raise Next-Gen game prices, which we already have seen game publisher Take-Two confirm for their Next-Gen game NBA 2k21.

Overall I think this would be a good move to drop subscriptions like PS Plus and Xbox Live in favor of a $10 price increase for the base game. This would make it a better overall experience and users should not have to pay a subscription fee to play a game online that they already paid for. How this will treat the pricing of the base Next-Gen consoles is yet unknown, but it should not be that much of an increase over Current-Gen consoles launch price.

Ghost of Tsushima Opening Weekend Sales Cross Over 200k In Japan

Ghost of Tsushima has gone on a roll ever since its release, it has become the talk of the month. Unbeatable in Japan, reported retail sales for the game crossed the 200,000 copy barrier almost doubling over the title second in line. Paper Mario holds up a good fight yet it is undoubtedly a massive gap between the two.

The open-world title also made its way in for the official support as a tourist attraction to the actual Tsushima city. Taking complete advantage of the fame earned by Sucker Punch proves that it can attract enthusiasts to the real deal. Going to the actual place and witnessing how things went down during the Mongol invasions and so much more definitely acts as a solid point to Sucker Punch’s arsenal.

Not only does Japanese culture gets promoted on an international level but the subtle innovations brought about by Sucker Punch in the game have truly been acknowledged by fans and enthusiasts. For a studio with no sort of background in bringing realistic historically accurate games to the masses, the sales just speak for themselves.

Having no sort of technological influence in their gameplay style and approach makes all the difference henceforth the unstoppable sales figures especially in Japan. Initial comparisons of the game with Last of Us Part 2 seemed to be appropriate however it is clear now how much of a contrast they have between them.

Microsoft CEO Claims Record-Breaking Growth For Xbox Gamepass On Xbox & PC

0

Satya Nadella quoted by Tom Warren’s Tweet reportedly stated that it was a breakthrough quarter for gaming and that the Xbox Gamepass saw immense record-breaking growth across console and PC. While no concrete figures were provided, it is more than evident that the success of the game pass has resonated amongst the masses.

Similar to the ever so popular battle pass system getting rid of all the micro-transactions in videogames, Microsoft opted for a similar approach to their online experience. Merging both the Xbox and PC in on their new initiative, the game pass provided a bunch of goodies alongside a wide variety of games available for a standard fee.

Considering how the online activity on consoles panned out over these past years something is definitely changing and changing for good. For instance, rumours go on in circulation claiming that Xbox Live might as well be disbanded. Recent reports suggested that the one year package was removed as well from the store.

The PC platform ever since the dawn of gaming has had the multiplayer advantage and part of it was the free subscription less experience with no hidden or extra charges. It seems that Xbox plans on making this true for their Xbox line up as well. This puts the competition, mainly Sony’s PlayStation in question whether or not it’ll be able to compete.

Seeing the success of the game pass things can pan out either way however this in turn immensely improves the gaming experience for the consumer.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Official Renders Leaked – Here’s Your Final Look Before It Goes Official

0

With less than ten days before Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy Note 20 series, WinFuture.de has released some of the official renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, revealing what was left to be affirmed.

Like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series, Samsung’s definitely continuing with the classy boxy design from the Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 series. Affirming previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra makes a grandeur appearance in gold and black. Furthermore, there isn’t much that stands out on the spec sheet. However, what does stand out is that Samsung is deepening its partnership with Microsoft with the inclusion of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service that’ll allow you to run console games on your phone via the cloud, provided that you have a more than decent enough connection. Regardless, an interesting move following Samsung’s push towards excluding/replacing native Google apps with its own or with Microsoft’s suite of Office apps on Android.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Renders

Both, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are going to continue taking advantage of Samsung’s in-house Exynos 990 SoC despite all the push back this year over the fact that the Qualcomm variants of these devices perform much better in most, if not all, scenarios.

Furthermore, the folks over at WinFuture also confirmed that Samsung has finally ditched the 100x Space Zoom tag from the Note 20 following the critique the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra garnered earlier this year due to its gimmicky zoom features. Another, yet critical difference between the Note 20 variants this year is going to be the much improved S-Pen, especially in the latency department where the Note 20 Ultra is expected to get the much-improved 9ms S-Pen and the 26ms S-Pen on the Note 20.

Ghost of Tsushima & Paper Mario Origami King Top Japan’s New Sales Department

0

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a ripple effect on the gaming scene worldwide. Sales have been affected, events cancelled, important announcements and releases delayed indefinitely and so much more. Despite all that, the recovery rate has been exceptional especially in Japan considering how well the introverted lifestyle was adopted by the general public.

In a report by Japanese site, sales rankings of new releases were calculated and revealed. Ranking on top is our expected, Ghost of Tsushima and for good reason since the whole game is based on the 12th century Japan. Moreover, the game was so well received that it was only inevitable for its sales to top charts.

However as we’ve talked about multiple times, Nintendo’s grasp on the gaming market has been improving at a staggering rate. This is further verified by the fact that Paper Mario Origami King came in second in terms of new sales. Despite being quite a while since the game was released as compared to Ghost of Tsushima.

It is evident that the pandemic lifestyle has allowed folks to give more thoughts about the gaming industry as a whole. Acting as a blissful escape for many, the whole backlash towards the gaming industry has to have changed by some degree following recent events worldwide.

Newest Xbox One Update Removes Mixer From The Every Console

0

The mixer has been the go-to platform when it comes to first-party streaming for Xbox users. While the platform joined the market with a bit of a flashy entrance signing top tier streamers like Ninja and Shroud, things didn’t quite work out the way they hoped. The latest update on the Xbox One disposes of the dying application for all users.

Interestingly enough Twitch had the market completely cornered despite Microsoft’s dire efforts. This, in turn, caused them to completely shut off Mixer in a recent announcement. However, things weren’t that simple behind the scenes.

In an attempt to try and enter the competitive market once again, Microsoft joined hands with Facebook for a rebranded “Facebook Gaming” platform. However, the whole deal was unappealing for them thanks to recent backlash on Mark Zuckerberg for allowing hate speech on Facebook.

However bumpy the ride may be, it is clear that the whole arena is truly one-sided and there’s a dire need for some competition. Yet not much has been done in that regard. Microsoft’s efforts seem to be at the right place at the moment considering how the whole streaming concept has grown especially in these times of social distancing.

As for Xbox users, they may very well add a proper replacement for the application despite preferences. Moreover, the current update is live for all Xbox One users regardless.

Here’s A Closer Look At Ghost Of Tsushima’s Collector’s Edition

Ghost of Tsushima launched just recently and being one of the most talked-about games of this year, it is safe to say that the game lives up to its name and that Sucker Punch pulled off a decent job despite all the shortcomings. Moreover, PlayStation finally revealed the first look at the tailored collector’s edition of the game.

Now the collector’s edition is truly something different, featuring more detailed memorabilia and figurines, the whole collection looks like something out of a museum. Of course what good would a collector’s edition be without the ever so famous Sakai Mask featured in the game?

The whole collection features over 12 different items from cloth map to scaled-down figurines and everything in-between including a mini artbook by Dark Horse. Compare this to what we’ve seen before in other games including, The Last of Us Part 2. Check it out here for more details.

This bundle gives off a totally different aura, it takes you back to simplistic times with a more natural mechanical feel fitting with the 12th-century theme. Of course the story content of the game more than makes up for any shortcoming or complaints from enthusiasts wanting more from the special bundle however it’s clear to see how far we’ve come.

Taking a totally unique approach, Sucker Punch has definitely painted a convincing image of what ancient Japan is and was always portrayed as. Pair that up with beautiful melee combat and we can see how well everything blends in together in the whole setting.

Nintendo Direct Mini Debuts Tomorrow – A Series Showcasing Development & Updates On Previously Announced Titles

This year has taken a toll on the gaming industry for sure. Causing every major event and showcase to just end up stranded or delayed indefinitely, this is probably the only time in history to do so. However constant strides have been made in order to shift everything online and move towards a more digital approach.

Today, Nintendo America’s Twitter revealed the commencement of their Nintendo Direct Mini segment featuring development and publishing studios along with a few updates on their already announced projects. The event is set to bring a breath of fresh air to the Switch platform with fans hoping for countless remakes and remasters of their beloved classics.

Recently, the popularity exploded for the Switch making it one of the top 3 best selling Nintendo consoles. Now aiming for the 2nd spot, sales don’t seem to slow down in any case. The pandemic clearly affected the gaming space yet the recovery by Nintendo is truly exceptional.

Moreover, with a real concrete announcement on its way after months of silence, fans are hoping to see brand new remakes of classics like Zelda, Smash Bros, Sonic, Pokemon and so many more. While there’s not much to go on about in terms of raw details, having Nintendo go for an all-out announcement is clearly a positive sign.

The announcement video is expected to launch at around 7 am Pacific Time where there’ll be all sorts of updates regarding the Nintendo Switch.

Ghost Of Tsushima Drops On The PS4 – Sucker Punch Co-Founder Talks Behind The Scenes Of Production

Being one of the two ends of the generation exclusives, Ghost of Tsushima raised many eyebrows on its first-ever reveal. Being compared with Naughty Dog’s Last of Us Part 2, the game released just a little under a month after it. Produced by none other than Sucker Punch, home to the amazing Infamous franchise, the game’s setting takes quite a bit of a turn compared to the sci-fi genre the studio’s known for. Absorbing the beautiful nature 700 years in the past and bringing quality melee combat mechanics.

Marking the release of the game on PS4, the co-founder of Sucker Punch had a few words to say about the game and all that was done behind the scenes. First off as mentioned countless times, the Studio aimed at bringing something close to reality and history. Moving away from the busy life in Seattle filled with countless sci-fi elements of creativity.

According to Brian, the studio had a tough time figuring out how to present the whole atmosphere of the Samurai era. In a world with no sort of technology, set in ancient Japan the laid down basics had to be perfect and that came with its own set of hurdles.

Furthermore, as he suggests, the studio had to start off from scratch since everything they had done up until now couldnt is reused except the special effects engine. Nevertheless, fixating their goal in bringing a classic Samurai game propelled them to their end product after over six years of development.

With the game out, the general feedback is mostly positive however the verdict by fans has yet to pass.

This Minecraft Resource Pack Gives A Breath Of Fresh Air To The Classic Title

Minecraft has been the top game for quite some time now. Over its decade long period of existence, the game has gone through drastic changes and over time the popularity has just kept on increasing. The most recent flux being the Nether Biome update caused new players and veterans alike to join the game once again.

For a game with boxy pixelated graphics, reigning over every major game in existence is something absurd to many. However, the truth is the fact that mods and resource packs have been the part and parcel of Minecraft ever since its release. This time around though, the creator Hodilton has produced a resource pack that is truly breathtaking.

Not only is each individual block properly illustrated but with RTX and shaders, the game looks truly mesmerizing. Taking it one step above to what the vanilla experience has to offer. Now don’t get me wrong here, the vanilla experience itself is something irreplaceable yet considering the flexibility of the game it makes one wonder how far can we push it.

With the ever-increasing popularity, the visuals of this resource mod are jawdropping nevertheless. This further proves that the Minecraft community is more creative than ever and the popularity does not seem to die down any time soon to say the least. Be sure to support the developer and support his work here.

The protagonist must do all in his might to gather around everything piece by piece. Almost poetic in a way, the game supports higher resolutions now with up to 4k support with uncapped framerates offering a complete PC experience.

Nintendo Switch Becomes The 3rd Best Selling Nintendo Console – Over 55 Million Units Sold

Nintendo Switch is the ongoing current generation console by Nintendo has proved to be an instant hit. Clearing out many of its predecessors, the Switch was something designed to be something easily approachable for both gamers and non-gamers.

As per a report released by Nintendo, the Switch has effectively crossed the Super Nintendo in terms of sales, selling over 55.77 million units. Effectively reaching the top 3 spots for the best selling Nintendo consoles of all times. As discussed countless times and portrayed through their actions, the gameplan focussing on a wider audience is something that has proved effective for the Japanese brand.

Introducing impressive and immersive indie titles on a console that may very well not stand up too well with the gaming giants like Xbox and PlayStation still allowed for the smooth sail of operations for Nintendo targeting a totally different market.

The recent pandemic forcing many people to stay home and practice social distancing also played a key role in boosting sales for Nintendo. With more and more Switch consoles being sold in times of distress it was certainly clear that the carefree outlook of the console played a key role.

While it is definitely not the end of the generation yet, with more and more new exclusive titles planned for the Nintendo Switch it may very well try and topple the NES in terms of sales for once.

Ubisoft Promises Rewards For Everyone Regardless Of Their Ubisoft Forward Stream

0

Ubisoft Forward was wrapped up just today and while the event itself was directed to give special insight on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 6, one of the highlights about the stream was the fact that Ubisoft promised a bunch of rewards for those tuning into their event.

While of course being a publicity move, the deal provided a few Uplay games most noticeably Watch Dogs 2, as expected in such dire situations, the whole server went down due to such an influx of users. This, in turn, caused many to be unable to sign up their Uplay accounts and claim their free copy of the game.

While all this fiasco took place, Ubisoft Support on Twitter shortly acknowledged the situation and confirmed that they would, in fact, be allowing everyone to claim and redeem their rewards regardless of the stream. While we’ve been seeing how things have been going south for the company with its top executives shuffled and leaks prior to the event.

The studio did a decent job allowing enthusiasts to enjoy the stream regardless of what remains. This not only allows more players to join up on Watch Dogs 2 but also gives a sense of satisfaction to those looking forward to the event. So what are you waiting for? grab your free copy now if you haven’t already.

Nintendo Partners Up With LEGO For A Special Edition NES Set – Expected MSRP Around $200

Nintendo’s always regarded as one of the most versatile giants in the modern gaming industry. With its unique game plan and unarguable tactics, things have looked bright for the company ever since it expanded. For a company whose motto revolves around the entertainment for non-gamers alike, it definitely is something interesting.

As reported by a German site, the Japanese videogame giant is partnering up with LEGO for a special edition NES LEGO set targetted at collectors offering a unique model. While the images of the set have in fact surfaced, the actual announcement is set for August 1st.

Moreover, the LEGO account on Instagram further teased the NES. Undoubtedly one of the most iconic consoles of all time, the NES has a special place in everyone’s heart and the fact remains that over time everything related to the original NES is to become highly collectable.

However, there’s been a little dispute amongst enthusiasts regarding the leaked retail price of the whole set. The complete set is expected to cost approximately $200 which is something more than an actual Nintendo NES would cost. While the whole set is something admirable with a complete set fit with a TV, console and controller yet paying this much for a collectable is something questionable for many.

Nothing is set in stone regardless of the fact that it targets very specific audiences it is incredible to see how Nintendo has actively made progress outside the gaming department.

Major Ubisoft Executives Depart In An Attempt To “Improve” Workplace Culture

0

Major Ubisoft executives including Yannis Mallat, head at Ubisoft Canada and Cecile Cornet, head at HR are confirmed to be leaving Ubisoft as reported by Jason Schreier.

The top end of the chain of command has seemingly crumbled to nothingness as we speak. Folks responsible for playing major roles in the company have ended up leaving. Ubisoft is clearly on a house cleaning streak and while the actual reasons are yet unknown it definitely has to do with their most recent policies.

While Yannis Mallat is stepping down due to multiple allegations by employees confirming safe practice in the workplace moreover the head of HR has voluntarily stepped down stating that the decision is in the best interests of the company.

Ubisoft as a whole has been thought of as a shipwreck with their development, announcements and events especially recently with countless leaks prior to their Ubisoft Forward event. While no one is to blame for the smooth sail of operations it is clear that Ubisoft is making reassessments in a rather strict fashion.

Furthermore, according to a report by Shannon Liao, the company is in its final stages to hire professional management consultants to reshape their HR outlook and policies for the betterment of operations. Things have undoubtedly been rough for the french studio yet it isn’t something unfixable hence a change is something that even us as consumers have wished for long.

Far Cry 6 – Another Trailer Leaks Out Well Off Before The Ubisoft Forward Event

0

Far Cry 6 seems to be on the verge of announcement yet it’s being targetted by tipsters and leakers the most. Just recently we discovered the game poster, a short teaser clip and the supposed release date of the game. This time around however we’ve got our hands on a 3-minute trailer fixated on the basic storyline of the game.

Featuring the ever so popular Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian, the story resonates with him starting off handing his son, Diego a hand grenade and taking the pinout and then moves on explaining the dire situation of their people.

While I myself wouldn’t want to spoil the first look experience, hence it’d be better for folks to see it for themselves. The leaked clip was revoked from multiple sites but finally stuck around on Reddit. Overall the game’s setting looks truly unique true to what Far Cry series has always stood for.

Moreover having such a dark tale is something not many expected yet as we move towards the next generation it is only natural for us to follow more realistic storylines and experiences as a whole. While the real announcement is yet to come we’ve learnt quite a lot about the upcoming Far Cry.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus Leaks, Features Snapdragon 865+ SoC, 8GB RAM and much more

0

With the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series debut around the corner, new leaks regarding Samsung’s new tablet, the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus has just been leaked on the internet once again.

Courtesy of SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus comes some incredible hardware underneath. As the previous Geekbench leak affirmed, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus comes with a Snapdragon 865 SoC, upto 8GB of memory, upto 256GB of internal storage and a 10,090mAh battery.

The Tab S7 Plus is also said to support Samsung’s 45W fast charging technology, and would also come running on Samsung’s new One UI 2.5 update, further affirming the Galaxy Note 20 leaks we saw earlier this month. In addition to those two features, the Tab S7 Plus is also said to come with an under-display fingerprint sensor, 13MP/5MP dual-camera setup on its rear, a 12.4-inch (2800 x 1752) display, and support for 5G technology out of the box.

With that being said, we could expect Samsung to reveal the Samsung Tab Galaxy S7 series alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series.

Samsung hasn’t given up after all these years despite Apple’s somewhat dominant position in the tablet market which is respectable. Given the hardware Samsung’s bringing to the table, the Tab S7 Plus may be an amazing alternative for folks who want a high-end tablet with a stylus.

What’s left to be confirmed is whether or not Samsung plans to add a 120Hz display to the Tab S7 Plus, which seems to be highly likely given how 2020 has become a major year for portable devices adopting 120Hz displays under the hood.

Far Cry 6 Contents Leak Out Prior To Ubisoft Forward Stream – First Look At Giancarlo’s Antagonist & More

0

Far Cry 6 has been the talk of the week ever since Breaking Bad Actor, Giancarlo’s role was confirmed in the game fans have been more excited than ever. Originally meant as a first look at Ubisoft’s upcoming online event dubbed Ubisoft Forward the game was set to raise quite a few eyebrows.

Despite all that, key elements of the game were leaked online through a Japanese PSN page of the game. First look at the cover art, as well as a short clip revealing Giancarlo’s antagonist, surfaced including what seems to be the initial release date for the game.

Looking at the leaked screenshot the release date is stated to be 18th of February 2021 given of course some sort of leeway in deadlines. While all of that is fine what’s interesting are the fan theories surfacing all over Reddit.

Showcasing the antagonist standing behind a young boy who seems to be his son, the cover art is truly something unorthodox even for Ubisoft. Fans were quick on their theories and immediately started comparing the young boy with the ever so famous Vaas from Far Cry 3. The resemblance in their eyebrows further supports their theories.

Assuming the rumours do come true, this would mean that players get to experience a prequel and a total background to Vaas’s character which is something interesting. Far Cry series has always experimented in various ways trying out different approaches. It’ll be a worthy sight to see how this holds up at release.
