Spy X Family is one of the most popular anime series right now. It is written by Tatsuya Endo. 11 episodes are already out from Season 1. The 12th episode is newly launched on June 25th, 2022. It is a story about three characters Loid also known as Twilight, Yor, and Anya who play a pivotal role in the story.
Twilight is the main character who is voiced. He is a spy from Westalis. He has come to Ostania for an operation named Operation Strix. He is an intelligent, professional, and a calm character with a very big heart for children. To mix into the society well, he needed a family and so he adopts Anya and marries Yor. Loid had a painful childhood and so he became a spy so that other children don’t have to suffer like him.
Yor is also a very important character in the show, she marries Loid and becomes a part of the Forger family. Yor is a 27-year-old girl who works in a City hall. Nobody knows about her real identity that she is an assassin for an organization named The Garden. She is also known as Thorn Princess. Yor is a funny and wacky character. She loves her brother and Anya. On the other side as an assassin, she is skilled and very powerful.
The third very important character is Anya who is a 6-year-old orphan girl. She is adopted by Loid. Anya was under the experiment of an unknown organization and because of that, she can read any person’s mind. Nobody knows about Anya’s special powers. There are many more characters who are important in the show like Damian who is Anya’s classmate, Yuri Brian, Henry Henderson, and many more.
In the series, Twilight is voiced by Takuya Eguchi who had previously voiced many other shows like Hikigaya Hachiman, and Julius Euclid. Anya got voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki also a very famous voice artist and Yor Forger is voiced by Saori Hayami, a famous actress, and singer who has previously voiced Shinobu Kocho, Tenshi Hinanawi.
Spy X Family has gained immense popularity within a very less time. It is said that it has sold over 11.7 million copies in physical and digital sales and it is the first series on the digital Shonen Jump+ platform to hit that level. It is strange because the series has just 57 episodes in total.
Is there an addition of episodes 13 and 14 to Part 1?
Well, sadly there are no additional episodes to Part 1 of the first season. It will end with episode 12 which is released now. After this, the show will continue with the second part of the season. It is expected to be out by October 2022 which is a little late for the already excited audience of this show.
