Hunter x Hunter is a popular manga series. It is written by Yoshihiro Togashi. It was published by Shueisha and was originally run for the first time in March 1998. In this article, we are going to talk about one of the most epic battles between Hisoka and Corolla. This battle is a part of chapter 351, the battle of death.
Hisoka vs Chrollo
The chapter begins with Hisoka and Chrolla’s fight being announced on the heaven arena’s top floor. They share their thoughts about how they were ready for the fight of death. As the fight begins Chrolla activates its ability which is the black voice where through the antenna he can control people. Hisoka quickly thinks that during their game of cat and mouse Chrolla must have prepared himself by gaining new abilities. Corolla sends the referee to attack Hisoka and he moves away. Hisoka gets attacked a lot of times but because he had a complete idea about how black voice works he could fight it.
Then Chrolla explains a new second ability called the sun and the moon. Corolla has a sun and a moon sign on his hands and he can touch anyone and make those signs on them as well and when the two marks touch they explode. However, Hisoka felt that Chrolla is going easy on him and so he showed his disappointment to him for it. Corolla explains that this was no regular death fight and for him, the style matters more than victory or defeat.
In a disrespectful fashion Chrolla then tells Hisoka about the third ability of double face which allows him to place a bookmark on the book and use any ability present on that page when the book is closed. He can also mark a page and turn to a new one which means he can use two abilities at once. This makes Hisoka excited about the fight.
Corolla reveals his next ability which was the order stamp. He says that this can help him control many puppets at once. Corolla places the bookmark on a new page and goes to the dead body of the referee and reveals another ability which was kortopi’s gallery fake ability where he can create a copy of anything.
Hisoka then asks him about the last ability as Chrolla told him that he would tell him about all his abilities. His last ability was to convert hands which means that when he touches anyone with his right hands they take on his appearance and when he touches anyone with his left hand he takes on the other person’s appearance and when touched with both hands the two people swap appearance.
After this, the fight begins and throughout the fight, Hisoka shows his IQ by trying to figure out Chrolla’s moves. Carolla’s strategy was to hide in the crowd while controlling people and puppet them to explode Hisoka. Hisoka was fighting with a mass of puppets which was overwhelming for him and so he used bungee gum to fight them. In the process, he lost his hand and foot and at last accepted his fate. He got exploded and died.
