About the movie
The debut from Ebo who is a part of a pair of American Nigerian twins who partners in making films on tv projects comes from a personal experience as its director grew up in Atlanta and questioned the authenticity of the megachurch she attended as she grew up. When a scandal came out and the pastor was accused of inappropriate sexual relationships with some of the young male parishioners.
The ultimate forgiving and nonplussed reaction from the church was concerning for Ebo which made her unaffectionate with organized money-driven religion. In search for answers, it inspired her to make this movie.
