Akane Banashi is an amazing Japanese manga written by Yuki Suenaga and illustrated by Takamaser Moue. It was published by Shueisha in the Weekly Shonen Jump and also published by Viz Media in English. It originally came out on February 14th, 2022. This is a very liked series because of the good story.
Akane Banashi is a story of a girl named Akane Osaki who has a love for Rakugo (a form of verbal entertainment in which a lone storyteller sits on a raised platform and uses only a paper fan and a small cloth as props, ge Rakugo artist depicts a long and complicated comical or sentimental story) which she developed watching her father perform.
But in a promotional test to obtain the third and highest rank of Shiruchi, her father and the other applicants were expelled from the Arakawa School and the reason was that there were too many creative liberties in the performance.
After six years Akane decides to become a Shinichi of the Arakawa School to prove Rakugo was a real profession and so she takes Rakugo lessons secretly from her father’s former master, Shiguma Arakawa.
