WWE Smackdown’s Friday night episode was very entertaining for WWE fans. In this episode, the tension between fighters is visible. Charlotte Flair and Ronde Rousey fight backstage:
After the last fight, tension between Charlotte and Rouse was very high. So no wonder the tension was escalating in the Smackdown show. If you watched last Friday’s match, you would remember that after Rouse’s in-ring fight with Sonya Deville, Flair tapped out Rouse’s ankle lock multiple times.
She promised Rouse that she will embarrass her in WrestleMania. But Rouse challenged her back by saying she will Scarpe her. She also promised to Flair that Flair will exceed WrestleMania by tapping out. You can note that Rouse is a former UFC champion. That’s why during last night’s WrestleMania match the tension between these two was very high.
These two WrestleMania opponents came face-to-face multiple times during the two hours show. The Intercontinental fight was between Ricochet and Zyan. The camera crew was recording it. The fight was pretty intense. But when Camera Crew headed backstage, they found Flair and Rousey brawling in the loading dock.
The producers of SmackDown, Shane Helms(known as Hurricane), and Jamie Noble tried to separate the two rivals. But they failed to regain control of the situation. Flair suplexes Rousey into the hood of the car.
She also tried to put Rousey into a sleeper hold. But other witnesses and the show management crew pulled her off. Meanwhile, SmackDowm went off the air.
Big E broke his neck during the match:
The opening match was between Big E and Kofi Kingston vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland. During the match, Holland gave Big E a belly-to-belly suplex outside the ring. Big E was not prepared for the blow. So he was unable to rotate fully instead, he took the bump square on his head.
He laid motionless after landing on the ground. Then the medical team took him to the hospital. And he shared a clip on social media from the hospital for his fans.
He informed them that his neck is broken. He also stated that he will be alright and doctors are supervising him.
Other Updates:
- Lesnar was chasing Paul Heymen through the whole arena during the match. He was calling for Reign’s blood after he assaulted Lesnar during the Madison Square game last week. Paul interrupted him by telling him that Reign is not backstage. After that Paul fled from there.
- Naomi and Sasha Banks won the fight against Natalya and Shayna Bazler via pinfall.
3. Rick Boogs won against Jey Uso via pinfall. Boogs and his tag partner Shinsuke earned a shot at the SmackDown team after the win.
4. Pat Mcafee attacked Austin after Austin slapped the commentator of SmackDown.
