It’s a wonder no one was seriously injured during last night’s Academy Awards. Tensions between certain celebrities were clearly high as they clashed with each other in front of millions on TV, but it seems like all those blows struck down only imaginary foes!
A few moments into Sunday night’s awards show and there he was: A tuxedoed Oscar attendee striking another life onstage at the Dolby Theatre (no lie). And while we’re certainly not defending his actions–mind you this is America’s thanks to gratuity points if their designer dresses aren’t complimentary-what caught our eye about the melee was that everyone involved in the fracas seemed to be having a blast!

When Chris Rock was on stage making fun of Jada Pinkett Smith, who currently has short hair as a result of alopecia, and said “Jadie I love you,” her husband Will walked up to him. Australian viewers heard what seemed like an exchange where he hit Rock in the face with some force before cutting off the sound for everyone else but Japanese TV subscribers kept going so we saw them argue back-and-forth twice over whether this should be mentioned at all when there are other issues going around such GI Jane 2 being released soon etc

It looked like Will Smith’s beautiful face was turned into an expressionless mask when he walked onto the stage. His fist raised in anger, probably because of what Chris Rock said about Jada Pinkett-Smith’s amazing haircut during his Oscars acceptance speech – which caused everyone else to laugh but him! It seemed like she tried hitting on him by asking if it was real or not (what woman doesn’t love playing around with guys?). But no matter how hard I searched through all those memes online telling stories from their past relationships; nothing came up other than them being friends now so maybe this happened after kids were born?
When Rock is hit, he laughs and says “Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me.” After that Will starts yelling back from his chair.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released a statement saying they “do not condone violence of any form.””

When accepting an award for his work in the movie Rock slap, Smith made several comments about how acting is a tough job that requires one to be able libel against others and still have them respect you. He said; “you gotta take abuse from people” before adding with a smile on face “you got passive-aggressively talk crazy behind your back all day long just because they don’t like what you do.”
The police department says that Rock declined to file a report.
“LAPD investigative entities are aware of an incident between two individuals during the Academy Awards program. The incident involved one individual slapping another,” the statement reads. “The individual involved has declined to file a police report. If the involved party desires a police report at a later date, LAPD will be available to complete an investigative report.”
Pinkett Smith revealed that she has alopecia in 2018. The condition causes hair loss, which can be career-ending for an actress like Pinkette – but also personally devastating as well!
Many viewers at first thought the punch was meant to be humorous, but it slowly dawned on them that what they just saw is real.
