While we’re certainly not condoning his actions – after all, it’s America’s thanks to gratuity points if their designer clothes aren’t complimentary – what caught our attention most about the situation was how quickly it got turned into a joke.
We all know that awards season can be pretty serious business. But when you’ve got an army of A-listers in one room, it’s only natural that things are going to get a little bit… weird.
And that’s exactly what happened at last night’s Oscars.

When Chris Rock was on stage making fun of Jada Pinkett Smith, who currently has short hair as a result of alopecia, and said “Jadie I love you,” her husband Will walked up to him. Australian viewers heard what seemed like an exchange where he hit Rock in the face with some force before cutting off the sound for everyone else but Japanese TV subscribers kept going so we saw them argue back-and-forth twice over whether this should be mentioned at all when there are other issues going around such GI Jane 2 being released soon etc

It looked like Will Smith’s beautiful face was turned into an expressionless mask when he walked onto the stage. His fist raised in anger, probably because of what Chris Rock said about Jada Pinkett-Smith’s amazing haircut during his Oscars acceptance speech – which caused everyone else to laugh but him! It seemed like she tried hitting on him by asking if it was real or not (what woman doesn’t love playing around with guys?). But no matter how hard I searched through all those memes online telling stories from their past relationships; nothing came up other than them being friends now so maybe this happened after kids were born?
When Rock is hit, he laughs and says “Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me.” After that Will starts yelling back from his chair.

Many viewers at first believed the punch was intended to be amusing, but it became clear that what they had seen is genuine as time went on.
