Reports every year said that franchise of Star Trek had ups and down for quite a few years now. The original series is known as the Iconic and recently, it had been canceled due to the problem of viewership which is quite poor. Though some of the series is considered to be one of the greatest.
Season 1 of the game had received a very poor rating until season 2 came on the market. The protagonist of the series also played a huge role as well. The biggest example of the protagonist is Captain Janeway who sided with the Borg. Defeated Species 8472 also got help as well.
Problems started with giant tribble as Janeway sided with the Borg and also saved them with the help of genocide. Destination to the species of 8472 was given to by the Borg. Star Trek had the extra-dimensional Predators as well.
All the extra dimensions came from the Fluidic Space. This will help in acquiring quantum singularities. In the meantime, the Borg were driven out by the Force. Federation for the Borg is also there which aims to create Borg xenocide.
A good thing for the fans in the games. The Borg in the game had primarily played the roles of villains only in the game of Star Trek.
A completely different force destroyed the culture as well. When the force arrived it looked quite unstoppable as well.
The Federation decided to hold them back rather than face their defeat. The Species of the game though provided a solution. The Crew of USS Voyager had let them kill the Borg. Though all the things don’t go the way Captain Janeway wanted.

The problematic issue was mainly with the way of unfolding the species because the species were quite nasty as well. Though not good Janeway considered them to destroy the Borg only. All these processes ended as soon as she met all the members of the species. All the members of the species still now were attacking ruthlessly and creating problems. Communication was done through the help of words.
After all the attempts the species 8472 didn’t stop ending the Borg. The effectiveness of the species showed the fault of the federation quite clearly. Many fans take issue with how Janeway sided with the Borg,  truly being the icing on the cake. However, there is a resounding consensus that overall it was the right decision to make.
The Borg were powerful and terrifying, and continued to pose a real threat to the Federation, but it’s a case of “better the devil you know.”
The Borg, in all their culture, absorbing, assimilating glory, was a far better option than the ruthless desolation and xenocide at the hands of 8472, who had made it clear that they would not stop until every living organism that was not a member of their race was wiped out.
