The player of Dark Souls 3 can dodge roll through the barrage of projectiles with invincibility or entirely avoid them.

However, they are too numerous and move too quickly to be easily avoided, which is why they previously felt so constricting. This type of straightforward design is the ideal illustration of how FromSoftware employs straightforward concepts to create more menacing foes and a more terrible environment.

Unfortunately, Dark Souls 3 players cannot observe the Jailer’s strikes in-game. The traditional method of dealing with Jailers will be required of anyone returning to the realm of Dark Souls 3. Fans of FromSoftware games are aware that knowing how to escape an attack and avoiding it are two different things. They will at least do so better equipped to deal with the attacks.
