Sword Art Online Progressive 2 Movie Is About to Bring to Us Lot of Action and Adventure This Year, Know The Details

Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night is a 2021 Japanese animated science fiction action-adventure film centred on the Sword Art Online: Progressive light novels, which are an expanded retelling of Sword Art Online’s Aincrad storyline written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by Abec. The film is directed by Ayako Kno and produced by A-1 Pictures, with character designs by Kento Toya and music by Yuki Kajiura.

After Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, this is the second film in the Sword Art Online series. The film tells the narrative of Kirito’s encounter with Asuna on the first floor of Aincrad, focusing on Asuna’s initial struggles to deal with the reality of her new world. The film premiered in Japan on October 30, 2021.

Scherzo of Deep Night, the next film in Sword Art Online’s -Progressive- series, will be released in Japan on September 10. The news was announced on the official Sword Art Online Twitter account, along with a stunning first key graphic for the film, which features Kirito, Asuna, and Argo with fireworks in the background.

The film is based on Reki Kawahara’s Sword Art Online Progressive spin-off light novel series, which covers the original Sword Art Online series’ Aincrad arc. Scherzo of Deep Night is the follow-up to Sword Art Online -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night, which was released in 2021.

The chapter Scherzo of Deep Night is broken into 12 parts in the fourth book of the light novel series. Because PVR Pictures released Aria of a Starless Night in India in February, the sequel may also be distributed in Indian cities. The Yen Press light book series is accessible in India as well. The following is how the publisher describes the book:

It’s just been two months since Kirito and Asuna were locked in the game of death that is Sword Art Online, and Kirito and Asuna are still at the forefront of the game’s progression.

The fifth floor of Aincrad is a mazelike ruin, and the two dare to loot it for the gold hidden within. It’s time to return to the fourth floor and conduct some questing for the Elf Lord Yofilis–but this is when Asuna’s unhappiness begins because they’ll have to fight her least favourite creature ever…

On July 2, a special 10-year-anniversary countdown programme will be held, which will include fresh details about the film.

The announcement, made on Twitter, confirms that the next film will be released in 2022 and discloses the title: Scherzo of a Dark Dusk. Fans of the Sword Art Online series have already expressed their enthusiasm for the sequel.
Reki Kawahara and ABC’s Sword Art Online: Progressive Light novels are an enlarged retelling of Sword Art Online’s “Aincrad” storyline. The first encounter between key characters Kirito and Asuna, as well as other events on Aincrad’s first floor, are adapted for the big screen in Aria of a Starless Night.
