The 2nd trailer of The Northman movie is finally out. It’s Robert Eggers’s third film. The movie is about a Viking prince. Robert’s fans are very excited about the film. So in today’s article, we will talk about the trailer and everything about the cast and excepted storyline of the film.
The trailer of The Northman:
The first trailer was already launched last year, in December. And the 2nd trailer is launched on April 13th. People are very hyped about the movie and they are very excited to watch it. As per IMDB, the trailer of The Northman is ranking 8.3/10 which is pretty impressive.
The Northman movie follows the storyline of a Viking prince who is blinded by his thrust for revenge. He wants to find the murderer of his father. And then he would kill him. This movie is a revenge thriller film. This movie also represents explicit violence, suspense, thrills, twists, and turns. It is also an action-filled epic.
The storyline and cast:
In the movie, we will see that the Viking prince is on a quest to find the murderer of his father. His father, the king is murdered by his brother Fjonir. As per the trailer, we see Queen is kidnapped by the prince’s uncle.
The prince’s uncle is doing all of this in order to gain the title of King and rule the kingdom. However, the trailer starts with a very powerful dialogue “Fate has no mercy”. The dialogue is spoken by the prince.
In the film, Alexander Skarsgard, the Swedish actor plays the role of the Viking Prince. We have already seen him as Brad Colbert in the movie Generation Kill. Alexander has also played several roles in many movies such as Battleship, The Legend of Tarzan, etc.
The king Aurvandil role is played by Ethan Hawke. He is not only an amazing actor but also a good director and writer. He is famously known for his role in Dead Poet Society.
The Witch movie star, Ayan Taylor-Jay is also starring in the film. And also Nicole Kidman and William Dafoe are also in the film.
By looking at the cast we can say that the acting in the movie will be super amazing. And Robert Eggers is known for his creativity among the audience so we can hope to see his creativity here too. The Northman will be released on April 22 in theaters.
