Applications for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Insiders Access program are now available.
In comparison to Intel and AMD’s efforts to cultivate a fervent following for their CPUs, Qualcomm’s most recent fan-building initiatives were insufficient. For instance, the Snapdragon Insiders program was established by the company in 2021 with the intention of engaging customers through the dissemination of new product announcements and smartphone photography tips.
A smartphone costing $1,500 was made available to Snapdragon Insiders a few months later, despite not having the company’s most advanced processor at the time: the 888+ Snapdragon Despite the phone’s Snapdragon badges, it did not advance Qualcomm’s technology in any significant way over any other major Android phone, making it hardly worth the high price.
For Snapdragon Insiders, Qualcomm has developed a new set of benefits that will grant them early access to a wide range of brand-new Snapdragon-powered devices.
Qualcomm is giving you the opportunity to test out the most recent Snapdragon-equipped devices, collaborate with brands, learn from established influencers through training programs, and gain priority access to Snapdragon Insider events if you are already a member of this inner circle (that is, you follow Snapdragon on Twitter, which is literally all that is required to become a Snapdragon Insider).
Qualcomm asks participants to share their experiences and feedback with the Snapdragon community and their followers on all platforms in return.
Applications for the program have begun to be accepted by Qualcomm. Those who are selected will be informed when a new device is ready for testing and invited to exclusive events. Although the company did not specify which products would be available for testing, it did state that they would be from well-known brands that make use of Snapdragon processors and include many of the best Android phones.
Supporting underrepresented content creators, whose work will also be available on official Snapdragon channels, is the objective. Qualcomm will seek a license to use the work in promotional strategies, but the creators will retain ownership.
The Snapdragon Insiders Access program is open to applicants over the age of 18 who live in the United States. The number of people who can join Qualcomm is unlimited, and it is entirely up to you to accept each invitation to a product or event.
