On Thursday, the couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, he made the official announcement that he would no longer be a coach for NBC’s The Voice.

In an interview with People magazine, he discussed his decision to leave the popular television show: Over the years, it has held me back because it is difficult for me to let go of.
“I’ve made a lot of money, but time can’t be bought back, so that’s what I want to invest in now, and that’s our kids,” the musician went on to say.

Shelton went on to say that after getting married to the No Doubt singer, he feels “settled” and is most happy when he is with his family. He has now shifted his attention to a life that is less dependent on his work and has promised that it will never be solely about him.

Stefani and Shelton began dating in 2015 subsequent to meeting on The Voice. The couple became taken part in October 2020 and married in July 2021.
The 46-year-old country vocalist was recently hitched to Miranda Lambert, an individual rural performer, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, Shelton was married to Kaynette Williams from 2003 to 2006.
Stefani and rocker Gavin Rossdale were married from 2002 to 2016, after which Stefani asked for a divorce in 2015.
