Gotham Knights enthusiasts are waiting for more information about the super-villain antagonist that might appear. Seed now. Freeze has been identified as the classic antagonist of Batman and the Bat-Family that players will encounter in the Owl Court.
However, like any other open-world action-adventure or action RPG, the game naturally has some side missions and antagonists to deal with in addition to the main narrative campaign of Gotham Knights.
Guess which antagonist will appear. Gotham Knights are months away from its planned release date, and WB Games Montreal has decided to stay tight-lipped around who will be coming out. At SDCC last month, WB Games Montreal confirmed that the Joker will not appear in Gotham Knights, but teased that Harley Quinn might appear instead.
But when it comes to other antagonists to play a prominent antagonistic role alongside her murderous plot, Poison Ivy deserves a potential rival that has already been teased.
Poison Ivy may have been a threat to the Gotham Knights on more than one occasion.
The single time the Gotham Knights ridiculed other opponents was during a previous promo featuring excerpts from the Gotham Gazette.
All titles in this list and promo column have been carefully narrowed down to determine if they can be traced back to something from DC Mythology at release. Unfortunately, none of the Gotham Gazettes, trailers, or other releases are officially confirmed as Adversary Reveal until an actual announcement is made.
However, WB Games Montreal should know that anything mentioning other characters will create tremendous hysteria among fans.
Conceptually, there are various ways to apply Poison Ivy to the action RPG Gotham Knights. It’s unclear if each opponent has their own faction of minions that the player will follow, but if Poison Ivy is in fact an adversary of the Gotham Knights and has her own loyal followers, the followers will most likely consist of ghost-controlled GCPD officers or others rogues.
Those who succumb to her seductive pheromones. This has been a big part of her abilities in several iterations of the character and makes the most sense in games like Gotham Knights, where there are multiple gangs of factions when Ivy’s gang consists of obedient Gothamites.
At some point, as the player progresses through Ivy’s sinister murder plot, she will also have to deal with her own attacks and boss fight patterns. Here, Ivy can summon a large number of living plants into the boss battle arena, which protects the player while trying to cover the distance.
