There were five occurrences- including nine individual stories- in Creepshow season 2 and then is how they all rank.
A time-recognized tradition in the kidney of horror fabrication is the florilegium, a set of general tone-contained stories, occasionally with a serape around the story.
Horror compilations can take the form of books, television shows, and indeed pictures, and when it comes to big screen compilations, Creepshow is arguably the reigning champion. Released in 1982,
Creepshow was a collaboration between horror elephants Stephen King and George Romero, with King jotting and Romero directing.
A box office success
it’s a bit surprising that a direct Creepshow adaption for television took nearly 40 times to be, as the format and branding seem a natural fit.
To be fair, Romero did produce Tales from the Darkside in the 1980s, which was in numerous ways a Creepshow television show without the name.
It was not until 2019 though that horror streaming service Shudder debuted Creepshow season 1, creatively commanded by frequent Romero collaborator Greg Nicotero.
As with numerous florilegium programs, Creepshow’s quality has been hit or miss so far, with some occurrences being good, some mellow, and some awful.
Still, enough people are streaming Creepshow that Shudder keeps concluding to renew it season after season.
With that in mind, then are all nine stories presented as part of Creepshow season 2, ranked worst to stylish.
Practical Goods maestro Greg Nicotero’s Creepshow continues to tell darkly amusing altitudinous tales of terror in this solid Season Two trouble.
While perhaps not relatively as good as the first season but the show brings in some great creative gifts starring a whole graveyard of familiar kidney faces. This Two-Slice release from RLJE sports an excellent A/ V donation for each occasion.
perk features are decent but nowhere is it near as emotional as the first season release was. Still, if you are an addict to the florilegium format, it is an amusing run.
