It is a Japanese manga series written by Eiichiro Oda and has received praise for its characterization, humor, and art. One-Piece is the only one whose volumes have ranked first every year in fourteen years of Oricon’s Manga Sales Ranking existence.

One-piece has over 490 million copies and has been the best-selling manga and best-selling comic series making it the highest-grossing media franchise of all time.
One Piece is one of the longest-running series of all time. Shueisha published it first chapter in 1997. The weekly updated story has spanned over 1,000 chapters and the twist is that this time the story has been the largest break from the manga since Oda took four weeks off during the time skip in the story which molded the series into a whole new direction.

Episode original video animation adapted the manga’s special “Chapter 0”, which shows how things were before and after the death of Roger but with a drastic twist. It received a limited release of three thousand DVDs as a collaboration with the House Foods brand.
