The deadly battle of Awaji Island has now started! Oni, rather than humans, have assumed control of Hinomoto since the arrival of the all-powerful Kishin. They learned about the Kanemaki Bushi when they encountered Hattori Tsugumi when they were travelling. When Musashi and Kanemaki Kojiro departed their home country, they made a vow to become the most powerful Bushi band ever.
The acquisition of Kitetsu Blades—the only tools capable of killing oni—has allowed them to take the first critical step toward their objective. In Harima, Musashi’s gang will encounter Uesugui Bushi and its intimidating leader Uesugi Tatsuomi.
To combat Yamata no Orochi, the Artillery Wyrm, a massive Kishin that threatens the Awaji island, they have banded together. Takeda Naotora, the Takeda Bushi, and several other Bushi Musashi’s age or younger, including Shimazu Akihiro and Amako Katsumi, join them.
Another choice is Saruwatari Michiru, a reserved and rather isolated princess. As several goals collide and overlap, Musashi and his allies join the hunt for Kishin. Powerful demon god Yamata no Orochi has never been hurt. Now begins the most ferocious of all conflicts.
