THE LAST OF US:
A well-liked action-adventure game The last of us is developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. This last of us is played from a third-person perspective. The game is all about the player’s control of Joel, a smuggler tasked with escorting a teenage girl, Ellie.
They started releasing the next parts of this game. The last of us was widely anticipated. It was released for PlayStation 3 in June 2013. It was immensely praised for its narrative, gameplay, visuals, sound design, characterization, and depiction of female characters. This game became one of the best-selling video games, with over 1.3 million units in the first week and 17 million by April 18.
The game won multiple Game of the year awards from several gaming publications. Last of us part 2 has been released already, now the remake of last of us part 1 is set to release in September 2022 for PlayStation 5 and later for Microsoft windows. However, based on the trailer that has been released, the last of us part 1 will not feature new scenes or any reimaginings.
THE LAST OF US PART 1: LEFT BEHIND
There was a rumor that the last of us part 1 is remastered and a remake, well it is partially correct. Therefore the last of us part 1 is only a remake in terms of gameplay. The last of us part 1 got people on their seats and not everyone agree with the concept of a remake.
In this remake, people want some features to be added like Left Behind should incorporate into the main story. People are having many guesses about how it would be, will Left Behind fit into the main narrative. Considering it, Left Behind can fit perfectly into it. Some say that the full story would see the game told in chronological order, placing the Left Behind flashbacks near the beginning of the game. However, this splitting would be less preferable than directly placing it into the main story.
If the Left Behind is added to the entire story, it will add more combat sections to get through its powerful story, so there would be more unexpected challenges for players to overcome, and it would make players sit on their seats, But at the same time some players may get bored or won’t be interested to continue playing after completing the main story, so keeping Left Behind in the early game could be beneficial.
Some players stated that they want it to be an optional full-story mode, it would be a great idea to do it as it won’t take anything away from the game. Giving options to the players to choose if they want Left Behind to be included or if they want Left Behind to be played separately. However, we are not sure about how the remake would be. If these additional features were added, it would make the remake of the game go long way but it’s in hands of Naughty Dog, so Let’s wait for their launch on September 2.
