Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 2 already has a definite premiere date: Sunday, August 14 for those who didn’t know. We’re super excited about it, as well as everything else that’s coming up in the future.
Many of these characters may be in other places when Season 2 begins. Detective Howard is recovering, Kanan has left the city, and we believe Raq is attempting to smooth out any kinks in her operation. Things are going to go chaotic sooner or later, and you need to be ready for it.

The stakes are bigger than ever, as she comments on Instagram, which makes us all the more curious about what we’re going to see. For starters, there’s a chance that some other shocks may be revealed, and once Kanan returns to Queens, we expect him to have a whole different outlook on life.
What will Howard do now that he has survived the attack? How will Raq deal with her son becoming more aware of the world and how she navigates it? These are subjects that we think will be interesting to investigate, and we expect to be numbness and tingling waiting for the metaphoric shoe to drop.
POWER BOOK 3’s second season is on the verge, but when will Raising Kanan be back?
Power Book III: Raising Kanan was the second bounce to be released, due to the success of Power Book II: Ghost in 2020. The Starz prequel chronicles Kanan Stark’s (Mekai Curtis) development as a man, as well as how his mother Raq (Patina Miller) affected many of his decisions. Fans are keen to learn when Kanan and the group will return for season two after the dramatic reveal in the season one finale.
Raising Kanan debuted in July 2021 on Starz and soon became a popular favorite among crime drama enthusiasts.
Starz was so confident in the show’s potential spin-offs that it renewed this for a season 2 just six days before season one premiered. Raising Kanan was originally scheduled to return in the spring of 2022. The start date for the second series has been set, bringing an end to the long game.
On August 14th, Season 2 of Power Book III: Raising Kanan will air on Starz. As with the previous series and other episodes in the franchise, a new episode will run each Sunday on the American network, including on Starzplay via Amazon Prime Video in the UK. Each series previously had ten episodes, and this may happen again. Based on the conclusion of season one, there will be plenty of drama in season two.
