Only Murders In the Building
Only Murders in the Building is an American mystery-comedy streaming television series created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman. The first ten episodes of the season first premiered on Hulu on August 31, 2021.
The plot follows three strangers played by Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, who share an obsession with a true-crime podcast. After a suspicious death in their affluent Upper West Side apartment building, the Arconia, the three neighbors decide to start their podcast about their investigation of the death, which the police ruled a suicide.
Only Murders in the Building 2
It is confirmed by HULU on Tuesday that a new teaser for Only Murders in the Building Season 2 is premiering on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, which features that somewhat surprising return of Tim Kono’s killer Jan. Army Ryan’s character appears to be behind plexiglass, picking up to phone to speak to whoever’s on the other side.
Additional Season 2 guest stars spotlighted in the above preview include Michael Rapaport as Detective Kepes, Nathan Lane as Teddy Dimas, Army Schumer, and, Academy Award winner Shirley MacLaine as Bunny’s mom.
New series regular Cara Delebigne as gallery owner/Mbael’s love interest Alice is also seen briefly. Season 2 follows the amateur sleuths on a race to unmask Bunny’s killer, during which several unfortunate complications arise.
While many things are different, of course, some others are still the same. For example, if the Arconia has a primary setting, a place could end up happening in one form or another. Season 2 has the potential to be a humdinger like no other, and perhaps even more mysterious than what we saw the first time around. Of course, some of the humor will also be here. The goal here is to effectively take what worked in Season 1 and then build upon it!
Release of Only Murders in the Building
Only Murders in the Building’s first two episodes of Season 2 will hit on HULU on June 28, 2022. After that, a new episode will premiere every Tuesday until August 23, when the season finale airs.
It can be said that Only Murders in the Building Season 2 has ten episodes total.
