Ms. Marvel Star Reveals Three Marvel Cinematic Universe Characters She Wants to Crossover in the Future

Now that Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight has stepped away from the spotlight, Iman Vellani’s entrance as Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, brings another exciting addition to the MCU’s ever-expanding roster. Vellani’s titular character, a die-hard Avengers fan attempting to make her way through turbulent high school while simultaneously coping with a supernatural bracelet that provides her superhuman abilities, is the focus of the new Disney+ series.

Fans have been wondering whether another young heroine would have any crossovers with other MCU characters now that another young heroine is slated to enter the MCU. Vellani, thankfully, has the freedom to choose who she wants to crossover with in the future.

“I think the Guardians will be entertaining since I’d want to watch her interact with aliens,” says one fan “Vellani said. “They all have distinct characteristics, and Kamala brings out their pleasure and humour when she appears on film with them. Other young female heroes like Kate Bishop and Ironheart might be entertaining. Ironheart is one of my favourite comic book characters, and I think she’ll do a fantastic job in her own programme.”

Ms. Marvel actor Iman Vellani reveals which MCU characters she’d want to see crossover with her character, Kamala Khan, in an interview with The Lowdown for the June 2022 magazine edition.

Given Vellani’s knowledge with the MCU as a die-hard Marvel fan, the actress is bound to know the finest crossover options for her new MCU heroine role. However, the chances of a Ms. Marvel and Guardians of the Galaxy crossover appear improbable, given that the Guardians are nearing the end of their run.

For far, Vellani’s Ms. Marvel’s sole confirmed crossover is with Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau in the upcoming The Marvels. On June 8, Ms. Marvel will premiere on Disney+, and The Marvels will visit theatres on July 28, 2023.

Despite the presence of Ms. Marvel and hints and references to other MCU characters as a result of Kamala’s status as an avid Avengers fan, this collection should mostly focus on her development as the franchise’s newest youthful superhero. It’s still unclear if the show will have any direct links to other Marvel Studios characters, but Vellani’s Ms. Marvel is set to lead straight into The Marvels in more than a year.

Kamala will be paired with Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau in that film, linking together three disparate MCU projects as Kamala gets her first taste of how vast the cosmos truly is. With only a few days until her Disney+ show premieres, Vellani looks to be on the mend.
