Now the Walt Disney Company Has Announced That Star Wars Is Being Restarted! Rejoice, True Fans. It’s Time to Rejoice Once Again! All the Details and Turns of the Sequel Trilogy Are Now Known.

When Disney purchased Lucasfilm in 2012 from George Lucas himself, I had faith that the Star Wars franchise would be in capable hands from that point forward. Because of the large amount of money and resources that Disney might spend on future Star Wars productions, the company would be able to recruit the very finest talent from all around the world.

I figured there would be a line of filmmakers as long as a Star Destroyer chomping at the bit to get in on their childhood fantasies and make Star Wars content. I figured the line would be as long as a Star Destroyer.

In addition to this, Disney had intentions of launching its very own streaming service, and there were whispers that they would bring Marvel and Star Wars episodes to our televisions. There was a great deal of reason for supporters to have hope.

After that..To tell you the truth, I really wanted to enjoy the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy since I am a huge fan of the entire Star Wars franchise, including the movies, the television shows, the books, and the computer games.

I’m just a regular fan who’s trying to find my way across the galaxy, and all I ask for from this franchise is to have a good time with it. That sums it up nicely. Maybe you can identify with this. If that’s the case, I have a feeling that our feelings towards the Sequel Trilogy are pretty much identical.

I didn’t care for it, and I have a feeling you didn’t either, so we’re in agreement there.

Everyone else I know who is a fan of Star Wars felt the same way about it. Each and every one of them. They were lukewarm about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but they couldn’t stand The Last Jedi.

They no longer cared by the time The Rise of Skywalker was made available to the public. From the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim, people could be heard shouting, “Who cares anymore?” The level of disillusionment was staggering.

The collective outpouring of grief on Reddit and Twitter was comparable to that of a flood that occurs once every hundred years. Unfortunately, toxic slime bubbled to the surface, and some fans plunged into the dark side, spewing ignorance and hate since their hearts were broken in the process.

Given that we are merely discussing movies, there was never a reason to endanger the life of another individual due to the fact that these movies were terrible. I do have some comprehension of the depth of your suffering, though. We hoped that they would be fantastic.

When it comes to things of the heart, like Star Wars, I am susceptible to letting my sentiments get the best of me, just like a lot of other fans. The feeling of longing for the past is quite potent.

We tend to cling to the past and indulge in heavy doses of sentimentality, both of which bring us momentary satisfaction at best. It is rather nice in the moment when it goes well, but there are times when we try to relive the past by experiencing a new version of that old “thing,” and we get an aberration that we dislike instead of what we were expecting to happen.

When I was younger, around the age of 23, I tried to convince myself that The Phantom Menace was a better movie than it actually was. This is something that I have done before with Star Wars. I desperately wanted to feel the same way about it as I did when I first watched “The Empire Strikes Back.” I wanted to go out on a limb and say that it was the very best Star Wars movie that I’d ever seen, but I also wanted to believe what I said.

That turned out to be an extremely difficult undertaking. I’ve heard that Sisyphus considered auditioning for the role of Phantom Menace but ultimately decided that he’d have more fun if he just kept rolling that boulder back up the hill.

I could forgive the incomprehensible trade embargo blah-blah-blah that thrilled me to the brink of unconsciousness in The Phantom Menace, but who could forgive anyone involved with bringing Jar-Jar Binks to life? I could. Who could?
