The Viking clans were notorious for their Uno reversal tactics and +4 spam.
What has been missing from Uno’s life for all these years? Vikings. Vikings, to be precise, assassin Vikings. As a result, Ubisoft has added a whole new Valhalla-themed pack to the game, which is currently accessible.
“The board is part of the gameplay for the first time in Uno,” Ubisoft said. “Wisely discard your cards to travel across the board and collect valuable cargo to gain access to exclusive benefits.” Players can now engage in card fights with opponents to slow them down, or unlock the longboat passive effect to discord multiple cards at once, thanks to this new resource.
“Along the way, players may come upon random events that will change up the gameplay,” the description says. “The DLC also includes the brand-new Eivor’s Raven card, which allows players to go to any place and claim their due rewards.”
For $4.99, you can get the Uno DLC, which gives the popular card game an Assassin’s Creed makeover. But it’s not just a cosmetic makeover. It makes the gameplay more challenging and gives it a Valhalla-themed makeover, according to Ubisoft’s description. You’re now trying to find loot and travel across a map while spamming your allies with +4s.
And this means that Switch owners will be able to enjoy Valhalla like never before. Although the system isn’t powerful enough for the game, isn’t this a decent enough compromise? If not, The Ezio Collection is always an option.
In other Ubisoft news, the French publisher has stopped supporting Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, bringing the game’s three-year run to an end. But Ghost Recon isn’t quite finished yet. There’s Frontline, an impending and enigmatic combat royale, and a recently announced project codenamed OVER, which has been under production for just over a year.
However, following the criticism to its announcement, Frontline is undergoing an internal hard reset – after all, two Ubisoft battle royales could be a bit much. At least, that’s what the players believe.
