The events of an MCU Disney+ series will be continued on the big screen for the first time in Multiverse of Madness. The film will pick up with Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) following the events of WandaVision, as we already know. Michael Waldron, a writer, has now proven that there is a significant Loki connection as well.
Loki season 2 has yet to be given an official release date, although it is anticipated to begin filming this summer. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who also helmed the Moon Knight series on Disney+, are the directors of Loki season 2. Moon Knight is available to watch on Disney+ in four episodes. Waldron was also working on the script for Multiverse of Madness while writing Loki. He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), a version of the Marvel Comics villain Kang the Conqueror, was brought to mankind by Loki. “He Who Remains is just an elderly frightening person in the comics,” Waldron noted. “I pushed and Marvel was quite receptive to the concept that he should be a version of Kang.” “Because I knew Kang was going to be a villain in the MCU, and it just felt too delicious not to have him in some way connected with our time travel plot.”
So it was simply up to us to justify his presence here, but Marvel was really supportive of everything.
In the end, Sylvie kills the form of Kang we see in Loki. But the persona assured her that even if she killed him, he would return. As he dies, he even throws her a mocking wink.
