343 Industries has announced that Halo 3 and ODST are now playable cross-platform through their newest addition, the Master Chief Collection. The eight-year-old game (or 15 for H3) can finally be enjoyed with friends on Xbox One as well!
Halo fans are excited about the news that Cooperative play will now be accessible on all three games in Microsoft’s popular video game series. Fans have long wished for this feature and it finally seems like they may get their wish!
F CNN reports cooperative campaigns of Halo III with other players whether Xbox One, Series, or PC. The ability to team up against waves of enemies is something most gamers dreamt of but haven’t been able until recently when an update rolled out last week allowing us access to these new features through matchmade multiplayer matches setting two-player co-op Mode + additional bonuses
The team at 343 Industries is warning that the new networking features might not work perfectly right away. They say they need additional insight from real players with different setups before releasing them to everyone in an update, but I’m sure it will be worth waiting for!
The latest update to the Master Chief Collection is now live on all three platforms, adding several new features and weighing in at 21.56GB for Xbox gamers; 26.5 GB through Xbox android app downloads, or 11 2B via steam downloading them too! One of those additions includes a brand-new mode called Flood Firefight that takes place before any other level within the entire series–it’s basically like playing soundwave without waves moving around but instead laser beams shooting past your face every which way making things very dangerous
The Flood enemies bring some spookiness to the mode with a fog that accompanies them into battle, and can now occupy vehicles or wield support weapons like turrets. They’re also able to infect ODSTs and Elite Majors!
The various performance upgrades made across all games in tonight’s Master Chief Collection update are just what we need for an even better experience- so stay tuned because there is more improvement coming soon enough from 343 Industries’ team here at Microsoft Studios 🙂
Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s classic campaigns are amazing examples of first-person shooters done right. Despite sharing some difficulty with Microsoft Point capabilities, players can enjoy the games they love and be proud to call themselves “Master Chefs” in this collection that has no lack when it comes down a flavor or fun factors
