Finally, a decent 1080p gaming system is within the reach of most people.
Prices for Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3060 have dropped significantly in the past year, allowing the card to reach MSRP for the first time in over a year at various stores.
The EVGA XC Gaming model is now on sale for $389.99 in the United States, which is just $50 more expensive than the initial MSRP. The official suggested retail price for the Inno Twin LHR is £379.99 in the United Kingdom, however you can purchase it for £379.99 if you live there.
If you’ve been looking for a great 1080p card at a reasonable price in the last two years, these ads provide the best option in that time period. At this point, it’s possible to create a respectable budget gaming PC for roughly $800 to $900, depending on your specifications.
Of course, these listings aren’t nearly as appealing if you already have a good setup and are wanting to upgrade from an RTX 2060 or a graphics card with equal capability. Many gamers are delaying an upgrade at the moment, which is understandable.
Nvidia’s RTX 4000 series cards and Intel’s Arc series, both due later this year, are the most eagerly awaited parts of the upcoming RTX 4000 series. TechRadar will keep you updated as soon as further information becomes available (such as a release date).
EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC 12GB:
As of this writing, MSRP is just $50 higher than this mid-range listing. Even if you’re paying a little more than you should, this RTX 3060 from Newegg is one of the finest deals we’ve seen in the previous two years for putting together an affordable 1080p gaming PC. An excellent mid-range graphics card, the RTX 3060 has excellent Ray-Tracing performance and DLSS.
This week sees an increase in the number of GPUs available for purchase.
We believe these RTX 3060 offerings are the greatest this week, but they aren’t the only ones. Check out the rest of the listings here. Nvidia cryptically tweeted the unveiling of a new Restocked and Reloaded page on their website just a few days ago. As of this writing, the only restocks around MSRP are in the UK, but the tweet notes that additional stock will be available shortly, which gives us optimism that the product will be accessible in the US soon.
Returning to the market are the GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards.
We’ve also been keeping an eye on graphics card costs at major shops like Newegg, Amazon, and Overclockers on a regular basis here at TechRadar. As a broad summary, prices are fluctuating very frequently, but things are generally moving in the right way presently, with listings possibly reducing by $10 each week.
