EP Discusses “Degree Of Inevitability” Behind [SPOILERDeath ]’s in ‘Killing Eve’ Series Finale; Spinoff Plans

With tarot readings, a wedding, and two terrible deaths, AMC and BBC America’s sensual cat-and-mouse drama Killing Eve came to a close.

After parting ways in the previous episode, the two-parter continued following Villanelle’s (Jodie Comer) and Eve’s (Sandra Oh) lives. Villanelle continues her assassination of The Twelve by hiking and hunting with fellow assassin Gunn (Marie-Sophie Ferdane).

In the meanwhile, Eve strives to resume an apparently normal life after Hélène’s death. Eve understands that she isn’t done attempting to take down The Twelve after a frightening karaoke session and a meeting with therapist Martin.

Meanwhile, Carolyn (Fiona Shaw) flies to Salzburg to meet with Vlad, a Russian acquaintance, to discover out where The Twelve will meet, which turns out to be MI6’s bar The Barn Swallow. Konstantin (Kim Bodnia) advises Pam (Anjana Vasan) to enjoy her day after receiving a distressing call from his daughter Irina.

Villanelle and Gunn enjoy an intimate moment on the remote Scottish island before the former reveals her plan to assassinate The Twelve. Gunn continues hunting out Villanelle until Eve comes on the island, knowing that eliminating the top dogs would imperil her way of life.

Konstantin tries to persuade Pam to join him in leaving The Twelve before the first portion concludes, but she instead becomes the victim of all the talents he’s taught her. Pam, unaware that her old employer Hélène is dead, slits Konstantin’s neck with a pizza cutter. She swears to carry out her mentor’s dying wishes and put an end to his pain.

“Hello, Losers,” the last episode, begins with Eve blinding Gunn with her bare hands. Despite their previous separation following Eve’s treachery, the two decide to leave the island and travel to where they believe The Twelve would be.

They stumble into a couple of hikers in the middle of nowhere who offer them refuge for the night. One hiker provides tarot readings, which describe Villanelle’s destiny as “holy” and “magnificent,” whereas Eve’s future is one of death. Early in the morning, the two leave with the hikers’ vehicle and finally have some private and wholesome moments.

Carolyn arrives at Heathrow and is greeted by Hugo (Edward Bluemel), who transports her to an MI6 safe house where she seeks to obtain a passport. Carolyn, who is always one step ahead of him, finds flaws in his schemes.

Hugo offers to drive Carolyn to Hampstead, where she will meet Pam, who will inform Carolyn of Konstantin’s death and deliver his note.

Before arriving to The Barn Swallow, Eve and Villanelle finally give vent to the desire they’ve been suppressing for years. “Even loyalty is a questionable virtue, unless when it’s to me,” Carolyn informs Pam, determined not to return to MI6 empty-handed. Pam is offered a position by her, but she declines.

Eve and Villanelle board the Dixie Queen, the Twelve’s new rendezvous location. However, Eve, mistaking for another lady, performs a wedding as a diversion. Villanelle evicts the kitchen crew and obtains entry to the basement.
