“Launchpad to the stars!”
This former fighter pilot is about to go on an adventure that will take him beyond our atmosphere. He’s going into space, baby!
The Israeli astronaut, Eytan Stibbe launched into orbit on Friday evening and became Israel’s second-ever man in space.
A few hours after his successful launch from Cape Canaveral Florida with NASA officials celebrating worldwide for achieving what they said will be a long time goal of exploring our solar system – one thing is certain; there are now two men who have set foot onto an alien planet: spreadsheet guy (Colm)and Starbright(Etan).
NASA’s International Space Station program is about to get a whole lot more glamorous. SpaceX, the company founded by Elon Musk with his own two hands after leaving NASA over 20 years ago has just launched astronauts into space for their first-ever mission aboard one of these capsules—a real-life superhero if you ask me!
It was only last week when they sent off another set of recruits on what will probably be quite some time before we see them again: Stibbe (a former fighter pilot), Larry Connor-an Ohio entrepreneur who also happens to have been training under Axiom’s very own vice president Michael Lopez -Alegria; 52-year-old Mark Pathy from Canada aiming high up there above us all…
The first private charter flight to the orbiting lab in two years finally arrived with a luxurious interior and SpaceX’s latest technology. Each passenger paid $55 million for this rocket ride, but it was worth every penny when they arrived at their destination!
“A lot is going on up there,” says Michael Suffredini, President of Axiom Space LLC. He has been working in rocket engines and space station programs for years-and he knows that each astronaut gets assigned some experiments they must conduct during their stay aboard the International Space Station (ISS).”They’re not just going to stand outside looking at Earth through the glass; instead, we send them down with sensors that record everything happening all around us – leafs blowing across building stops, cars driving by below streetside–even what sounds birds make.”
The Israeli delegation was in top form today, with Elizondo-Alegria remarking that they were “looking forward to the next 10 days.” They did some dance when arriving at Cape Canaveral for launchpad practice just before taking off themselves! The second Jewish person ever launched into space will continue a thunderstorm experiment begun by their countryman who died aboard Shuttle Columbia back in 2003–Ilan Ramon himself became billionaire founder of Microsoft Asia Pacific after being killed during a NASA mission…
Stibbe is carrying a copy of recovered pages from Ramon’s space diary, as well as his famous song composed by his son and painter.
“To be part of this unique crew makes me feel like there isn’t any dream too far away,” said Stibbe while onboard with 16 hours’ worth of recovery time left until they make contact again!
“Hello everyone,” said Stibbe in his communiqué. He added, on which the Walla news website reported: “We’ve gotten used to living without gravity and we’re starting to operate comfortably.” The launch was amazing! I think he saw everything from up close when their capsule passed through zero-g during flight—an experience few people will ever know about firsthand
But now it’s time for some sleep before tomorrow’s big event – landing near Tel Aviv at high altitude among Majorca moonlight clouds if there are any left by then…
