PS Plus subscribers may receive certain vintage games, but Redditors share the games they actually desire, ranging from Persona 5 to Metal Gear Solid.
Sony recently informed PS Plus subscribers that their service, comparable to GamePass and Nintendo Switch Online Membership, will be available soon. PS Plus will have three tiers, and in addition to the normal monthly releases, cloud saves, and online play, gamers will be able to revisit numerous old games from their collection.
What games do fans want to see among the almost 400 titles available for PlayStation Plus Extra and the over 700 games available for PlayStation Plus Premium when it launches in June? While only a few have been released, many players have theorized and built wishlists in order to persuade them to join up for these new, higher tiers.
Persona 5 is a role-playing game.
The PlayStation Plus Collection allowed PS5 customers to relive and play some of the best games from the PS4 catalog. Reddit user Ajayu, on the other hand, claims that “PlayStation Plus Collection loses its debut game, Persona 5,” one of the PS4’s most highly praised and beloved titles.
With the new PS Plus tiers, though, it may be able to make a reappearance. Better yet, with a PS Plus Extra tier subscription, fans and beginners alike may be treated to Persona 5 Royal, an enhanced and better version of the original.
Uncharted 2 is a sequel to the first game.
Uncharted is regarded as one of the best PlayStation franchises of all time, following treasure hunter Nathan Drake on globe-trotting adventures and uncovering the truth behind some of history’s most famous stories. Drake went on a tremendous adventure in his second game, surviving a train catastrophe, exploring the Himalayas, and reuniting with Elena Fisher.
Watch Dogs, The Walking Dead Season 1, and Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma were among the titles listed in a poll produced by [deleted] for their “PS Plus Games Wishlist.” However, with the PS3 classic now included in the Premium tier, fans should be able to play it again shortly.
The Sly Cooper Trilogy
Sucker Punch was responsible for the Sly Cooper titles on the PS2 before creating the Infamous series and Ghost of Tsushima. Sly and his crew attempted to steal from corrupt and dangerous villains in this comical stealth game, which spawned a console trilogy.
Many people shared their ideas and games they’d want to see in the comments area of hybroid’s post about the “700+ games” coming to the service in June. “Just let me play Sly Cooper,” ZephixVI replied, a simple yet effective response. Let’s hope Sony follows suit at some point.
Twisted Metal game
Fans of the Twisted Metal games have been immersed in the chaotic and destructive world of vehicle-based combat and the insane drivers who participate for ten years. However, for those who played other PS1 games with the finest replay value, the original games on the PS1 have remained one of the most appreciated.
sw1ff2 mentioned some of the titles they’d like to see in another comment on hybrid’s article. They “want to know if Max Payne 2 and Twisted Metal will be on this” service, among other things. With over 700 games coming to PlayStation Plus in the near future, these two could make a comeback.
Dragon Quest VIII is the eighth installment of the Dragon Quest series.
“Which PS Plus tier are you going to get?” yashwanthjoey questioned in a Redditor’s post. PS Plus Essential received a majority of the votes. However, banjotheshark, one of the commentators, stated that “if they offer Dragon Quest 3-8 and Persona 1-4, I’ll get premium,” and it appears that nostalgia has played a significant role in several of these decisions.
While Persona 4 would be an excellent addition to the Vita library, Dragon Quest VIII was first launched on the PS2 as a console exclusive for several years before being converted to the 3DS. Because the series was formerly linked with Nintendo, seeing a game from it arrive on Sony’s second generation and receive excellent reviews might be a welcome addition for both JRPG and PS2 fans.
Drakengard
Someone mentioned perhaps one of the lesser-known titles on this list in the comment section of yashwanthjoey’s poll. According to r3verendmill3r, “until the PS2 alternatives include Drakengard and Drakengard 2, I’ll probably stick with what I have.”
Drakengard is a JRPG trilogy developed by Cavia and released on the PS2 and PS3. The games garnered mainly excellent reviews, and while they may not be as well-known as other JRPG series like as Final Fantasy and Persona, Drakengard has developed a cult following over the years, despite the fact that many people would rather try other obscure JRPGs believed to be the finest.
Armored Core

“What PlayStation Plus tier will you subscribe to?” bestjedi22 asked other Redditors in his post. Everyone could vote for a variety of possibilities, and many people shared their thoughts in the comments area.
Astralhunt recommended the premium tier, saying that games “such Army Men, Armored Core, and The Legends of Dragoon are irreplaceable, and each of these is probably already worth half the subscription of PS+ Premium.” Because the original Armored Core is a PS1 classic, fans like astralhunt will hopefully be able to play it again.
As Elreyleon said, one of the less-discussed aspects of the new tiers that Sony will bring to its subscription service is that the Premium Tier will enable streaming for PCs. With several PS4 games now available on PC in addition to the console, it was only a matter of time until more alternatives for PC gamers were added.
“Hoping for some progress in backward compatibility,” FelopianTubinator wrote in the comments section of this page. One of the games they were hoping to see was Red Dead Redemption, which is one of Rockstar Games’ best-rated games on Metacritic. However, due to their dissatisfaction, this fantastic game will have to “remain PS3/Xbox 360 only” for the time being.
Metal Gear Solid: The Complete Series
The famous Metal Gear Solid series is often recognized as Hideo Kojima’s finest work. Fans of the beloved series followed Solid Snake and Big Boss as they sneaked their way through enemy bases and met some of gaming’s most satisfying boss battles through many generations of PlayStation home and handheld platforms.
The tweet by PlayStationGameplay triggered a lot of discussion regarding the games people wish to see. They want some, according to Bhalzard “Games for the PS3 and PSP. Metal Gear Solid Collection is something I’d like to see.” There’s no disputing that more Solid Snake would be a good thing, whether it’s the complete series or the HD remasters that were published for the PS3 and Vita.
The Legend of Dragoon
The Legend of Dragoon was developed by Japan Studios and published in Japan in 1999 before being released in North America the following year for the PlayStation 1. Many JRPGs developed large or cult followings on the system, and some are still sought after by collectors today.
MyWorkComputerReddit wrote another remark on PlayStationGameplay’s post regarding the 700+ games “will cover the cost of memories I’d want to play The Legend of Dragoon!” Let’s hope that, like many other old Sony games throughout the years, this will be one of the PS1 games added for Premium tier customers.
