94th Oscar Awards Live Updates- ‘Coda’ Steals Heart of the Audience, Will Smith Won His First Oscar and the Complete List of Winners .

This year’s Oscar award ceremony was held in L.A’s Dolby theater. This year’s Oscar was special for so many people as many big stars performed during the ceremony such as Beyonce and Bille Eilish. Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Skyes were hosts during the ceremony.

Tory Koster, a hearing-impaired won the Best Supporting Actor award for CODA. Now he has become the second deaf actor to win Oscar. During his winning speech, he thanked everyone for the award. He specially mentioned his family and told the audience that his family is his biggest support. The Whole audience gave him a standing ovation and admired him.

Tory also dedicated his award to the deaf community. While Standing on the stage, Tory said” This is our moment “.

CODA is written and directed by Sian Heder. It is a remake of the French film La Famille Belier. The story revolves around Ruby Rossi(Emilia Jones has played the role) who is the only hearing person in a deaf family. The film showcases her struggle to cope with her family. As per the critics, CODA has sidelined The Power Of The Dog movie. 

The Power of The Dog was nominated in 12 categories but it has only won one award. Jane Campion has won the award for best director for The Power of The Dog. This movie has disappointed the audience with its Oscar performance.

As per the NDTV report, Dune has won 6 awards. It was nominated in 10 categories. On other hand, Will Smith won the Best Actor award for King Richard. It’s his first Oscar award. So no wonder he got emotional while receiving the award. While giving the speech, he also apologized for losing his temper and punching the presenter Chris Rock. As per sources, Chris made a joke about Will’s wife Jade Pinket earlier. Bille Eilish also won the Best Original Song award for her No time to die song. She has written this song with her brother. And Japanese film Drive My Car won the Best International featured award.

Moreover, Jesica Chastian won the Best Female actress award for The Eyes of Tammy Faye. Anthony Hopkins gave Jesica her award. But He did not show up last year for his award. This little gesture seems quite surprising to viewers.

Therefore, Danny Grover also won The Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. Ariana DeBose also won the Best Supporting Actress award for West Slide Story.
