Recently Apple has released ios 15.4 beta version for the registered developers. Last week the company launched the ios 15.3 version but the 15.4 version has more interesting features. There will be a new Siri voice, new emojis, and also face recognition while masked. Let’s learn more about these features.
Following the release of the ios 15.3 last weak, Apple has updated the ios 15.4 version. This new update download will be available for exclusive developers who are enrolled in Apple’s developer program-which costs $99 per year. If you don’t want to pay for it then you can join the public beta program and get this Update in a day or two.
Here is what we know so far about the new features:
1. According to 9to5Mac.com, after hearing the concerns of so many users regarding AirTag issues Apple has promised to add more security alerts in this new update. So many people use Airtag to stalk people without their concern. Now in this new beta update, users will instantly get an SMS while setting up Airtag making it clear to them that this accessory is linked with their personal data. However, the Massage also says that” using Airtag to track people without their concern, is a crime in many countries around the world.”
The Find My Mobile App in the 15.4 version will also be available with a new notification setting that will let users change specific settings regarding the app.
2. As per Macrumors, in the new ios 15.4 the company has introduced a fifth “American Siri” voice. Users can select this voice from settings by searching the Siri & selecting the voice. Before this new update, Siri was originally available in 4 voices for the iPhone users. Though this new voice is only available for the United States iPhone users. It is the only new update regarding Siri.
3. In this new 15.4 beta version, users can unlock their iPhone with their apple watch when Face ID doesn’t work. To use this you have to go to Face ID and Passcode setting; there you will find this new tool named “Use Face ID with a mask on”. After turning it on this feature will only use your eye area for authentication. Obviously, this feature is not so helpful for those who don’t wear watches.
4. As per the Unicode costume’s Emoji 14 release, there will be a bunch of new emojis for use in this beta update.
4. In this new beta update, users will be able to add notes in the Password entry in Keychain.
5. Apple has added a new apple card widget for those users who want to track their usage. Now in this new ios update, users can add an Apple card widget to their home screen to track their savings and spending.
6. In this new ios update, the health app supports the EU digital Covid Vaccination certificate so now if you want you can easily add the certificate to the health app.
The new ios 15.4 version is currently available for the developers so we don’t exactly know when it will be available for the users. But we are hoping that this version will be available for iPhone users in mid-March.
