Snapchat Year in a Review 2021

The new year is almost approaching, which means it’s time to wrap up 2021. Thankfully, Snapchat debuted its Year-End Story for 2021 on Tuesday, Dec. 14, allowing users all across the world to relive the previous year in video form.

The yearly Story is a compilation of all your Snapchat highlights from 2021, such as videos of your vacations, furry pals, and more. Here’s how to obtain your year in review on Snapchat with your Year End 2021 Story to reflect on the year with your favorite videos.

You can access your Year-End 2021 Story by swiping up from the Snapchat Camera to your Memories, according to Snap. You’ll view it in the same place you see your other Memories. (If you don’t see it straight away, check that your app is up to date and try again). Once you’ve completed the Story, you may look over all of your memories from the previous year.

How to See, Send, and Save Your 2021 Snapchat Highlights?

  • Launch the Snapchat app and navigate to the camera screen.
  • Click the photo icon to the left of the circle you pressed to take a picture (the icon you would normally click to see your snaps from this day last year).
  • At the top of your stream, you’ll notice a yellow tile called A Look Back at 2021.
  • Click that and go through Snapchat’s highlights.
  • You can then choose which highlights to share with specific individuals or publish to your story, change the 2021 highlights, and save the full highlight reel to your phone.

What if I Don’t get my Year in a Review?

If you don’t see your Year in Review story on Snapchat, it’s most likely because you didn’t post enough Snaps during the year, and your Snapchat Memories aren’t large enough to make it into a narrative. Consumers, however, have no control over this, so if you don’t see a story for 2021, you’ll have to wait till 2022.
