Kanye West and Drake, two of this generation’s most brilliant hip-hop artists, are equipped to play a live concert next to each other later today, December 9. The best part is that you can stream it for free if you use Twitch.
Drake And Kanye West’s Concert Online: How to Watch?
The two rappers will be broadcasting live from the Los Angeles Coliseum to undertake a benefit concert in honor of Larry Hoover, who is serving time multiple life sentences in federal prison on gang-related charges. Ye and Drake have joined forces to make people aware and advocate for Hoover’s liberation.
When and Where to Watch Drake and Kanye West’s Concert?
The show will be broadcast live and free of charge on Amazon Music’s official Twitch channel in all countries where Amazon Music or Twitch are available.
Kanye West and Drake will begin their performance on Thursday, December 9 at 10 p.m. CT. It’s unclear how long the show will run or whether it will be available on VOD after it concludes.
The Free Larry Hoover benefit concert will also be streamed live on the Amazon Music app and the Amazon Music Twitch channel. Following the live event, the concert will be available to watch on-demand via Prime Video.
“We’re extremely proud to be working with Kanye and Drake on this historic concert in support of a cause they’re both so passionate about, and to collaborate across Amazon for this epic entertainment event,” Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke said in a statement.
The concert will be live-streamed in IMAX theatres across the United States for a one-night-only IMAX Live event, in addition to being available through Amazon’s services. Tickets are now on sale on the official IMAX website.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Kanye West and Drake perform together, as they only recently ended their 10-year feud. “I believe this event will not only raise awareness for our cause but will also demonstrate to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we put our pride aside and work together,” Kanye said, according to NME, a British music magazine.

Twitch has previously collaborated with some musicians during the coronavirus pandemic as well but has never broadcast a musical event of this scale. The Amazon-owned streaming platform is known primarily for its gaming content, but it has been expanding in recent years.
Are Drake and Kanye Friends Now?
Drake and West’s long-running feud will allegedly be “put to rest” at the upcoming event. The concert is intended to raise awareness about Larry Hoover’s incarceration as well as support for prison and sentencing reform. Hoover, a co-founder of Gangster Disciples, was convicted in 1997 of murder, extortion, and money laundering, among other charges, and is currently serving six life sentences. For several years, West has used his platform to work to free Hoover.
Following the cancellation of his 2016 Saint Pablo Tour, the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert will be Ye’s first headlining show in over five years. It will also be Drake’s first concert performance since the Astroworld Festival tragedy, which resulted in ten deaths and over 300 injuries, and has resulted in lawsuits being filed against Drake, Travis Scott, and Live Nation.
