The all-new OnePlus 6T just got leaked in a new color variant; the Thunder Purple. Just like the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 6, OnePlus seems to be planning a special colored variant of the 6T. The leaks come in the form of allegedly official press renders, taken from OnePlus’ India support page, courtesy of MrGizmo.
The Thunder Purple Edition OnePlus 6T looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S9 in Lilac Purple, judging from the press renders. The Purple gradient does look quite gorgeous, although we still prefer the matte black look of the original OnePlus 6T. Just like the Star Wars Edition OnePlus 5T and Silk White/Red editions of the OnePlus 6, the 6T might be getting it’s set of special variants as well. The leaked press renders are not just renders. The phone is pictured with actual models as well, which indicates that it is indeed a reality, not a concept.
The OnePlus 6T launched last week and while it has great improvements over the original OnePlus 6, it is still pretty much same in a lot of other aspects. The phone does pack some beefy internals though, we’re looking at top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, and a 3700mAh battery pack among many other things. Aside from this Thunder Purple edition, the OnePlus 6T is also rumored to come in an “Ultimate Edition” variant, which has its own uniqueness.
