OnePlus has finally announced the OnePlus 6, the company revealed last month that they would be revealing the OnePlus 6, and today, they’ve finally did!
The OnePlus 6 looks exactly as frivolous as we expected. Not only did we see what the OnePlus looks like over the past week, but we’ve also seen what the phone may pack. OnePlus pretty much didn’t have anything new to showcase at the event. Now besides that, let’s talk about the OnePlus 6’s release.

The OnePlus 6 packs your usual Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 6/8GB of RAM, a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED FHD+ display, 16+20MP dual camera setup and upto 256 Gigabytes of internal storage. The phone also retains the headphone jack as well as assures that users that the newly introduced notch is here to stay. These internals are what many techies would have predicted and were the same exact internals we reported earlier this week.
While the price increase have left a nasty bitter taste throughout my tastebuds, the OnePlus 6 may still be a viable option for some. Here’s the official pricing of the devices
- OnePlus 6 – 6+64GB – $529
- OnePlus 6 – 8+128GB – $579
- OnePlus 6 – 8+256GB – $629
Not only is the gradual increasing in prices really disturbing for me, but it also makes me rethink of what OnePlus’s goals were when they first released the OnePlus One. Now that they’re entering the $600 price bracket, it does make me want to have a look at other flagships that have dropped in price.
Regarding availability, if you have local retailers in your country that retail the device, consult them, or else wait for the device to land on OnePlus’s site.
