It seems like a ton of Poco F1 users are about rejoice as the latest MIUI 10 Beta brings Android Pie to the Poco F1. The latest build of MIUI 10, specifically MIUI 10 has finally brought the long-sought update to the flagship killer. With the Android Pie update, Xiaomi Poco F1 users could finally enjoy the earlier builds of Pie on their Poco F1 through a recovery flash or through an update.
Given that Android Pie has landed on a MIUI 10 Global Beta build rather than the stable build, we’re safe to suggest that the MIUI 10 Global Stable build would run on Android Oreo. The update is currently available for download here.
And since there isn’t a changelog available for the build since it was leaked, we would have to wait until we actually install it on our device. And now that is has been leaked, we’re expecting to see Xiaomi officially showcase it over at the MIUI forum within the next 24 to 48 hours given that they realize what has just happened.
There’s still a whole lot to be addressed aside from introducing Android 9 Pie to the Poco F1. Poco’s Head, Jai Mani has promised to deliver a ton of missing features to the Poco F1 so far that includes adding 4k/60FPS, Netflix HD support and an update to Android P and Q in the near future. Now that one of them has been addressed, it seems like there’s a ton of stuff to look forward to with the Poco F1 as 2018 comes to an end.
