Google’s definitely cooking the next Pixel device in their backyard. Fans of Google’s next big thing can’t get over the fact that a lot has changed since the last Pixel device made it to the market. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were excellent devices at the time of their release, but a lot has changed since then.
Apart from people complaining about performance issues, Google’s urge to stick with software techniques to enhance the photography experience has to be applauded. A ton of people, despite the Pixel 2’s quirky issues are forced to come back to the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL for its camera. The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL pride themselves for being the first kids getting into the party with major Android updates.
Fans are expecting Google to release the next generation of Pixel devices later this year that would succeed the Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2. As usual, these new devices from Google would sport up-to-date internals.
What’s disturbing is the fact that the spec sheet mentions that the Google Pixel 3 XL could actually sport 4 Gigabytes of RAM despite the demand for RAM capacity. If true, this would be devastating. However, for a device that’s not out yet, the spec sheet could change over time, hopefully.
Given that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Pixel 3 XL leak on the internet, it seems like some things are expected to change over the course of the next few months.
