The folks over at Epic Games have just released an update where they stated that they are aware of users experiencing issues with Norton’s latest update.
After a recent update from Norton’s Antivirus, it seems like players are having issues playing Fortnite. Since Fortnite is the hottest game and that they’ve reworked their anti-cheat system recently, it seems like Fortnite could be appearing as a false-positive on Norton’s Antivirus.
Given how strict Epic Games is with their anti-cheat system, it seems like its about to get even stronger moving on forward. Don’t even get started about how Epic Games wanted to take cheaters to court for cheating in the game.
Epic has confirmed that they’re working with the folks over at Norton to investigate the issue, it’s likely that everything would be back to normal in a few days.
Users who are experiencing these issues could report them directly to Epic or even join the Fortnite sub-reddit to express their issues. They’ll definitely take notice once the issue starts gaining traction.
