Earlier this week we reported a rumor about original Xbox titles that would join Microsoft’s Backwards Compatible titles library. For this keen about those titles, they sure came out to be true.
Just a few minutes ago, Microsoft has confirmed that they’re releasing 13 titles from the original Xbox to the Xbox One family of devices. For those enthusiastic and keen about these titles, Microsoft has confirmed that not only are these titles being ported onto their latest-gen consoles, but is also going to make sure that these games are on-par with 2017 titles in terms of resolution count. Here’s the titles that have been confirmed to be released by tomorrow.
Microsoft also confirmed that since these games are original rather than being remastered, the titles with online multiplayer won’t work.
- BLACK
- BloodRayne 2
- Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
- Dead to Rights
- Fuzion Frenzy
- Grabbed by the Ghoulies
- King of Fighters Neowave
- Ninja Gaiden Black
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
- Psychonauts
- Red Faction II
- Sid Meier’s Pirates!
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Microsoft assured that this is just the first batch of titles coming to the Xbox One family of devices and gamers should look forward to more batches in the future as we enter 2018.
Microsoft also confirmed that since these games are original rather than being remastered, the titles with online multiplayer won’t work. Below are some graphics comparisons done by Microsoft themselves.
