OnePlus has been teasing their next major flagship for quite a while now. With four major competitors releasing their flagships in 2017, the company hasn’t been quiet about their unreleased flagship. So far, OnePlus have been keeping eager users on the edge of their seats since the beginning of these rumors, from OnePlus officially asking fans to recommend a box design of the OnePlus 5, the hype for OnePlus’s next flagship is really on the roof.
The budget warrior, OnePlus has just revealed the OnePlus 5 officially just before it’s tease later this month. The company released a picture today on Facebook and also released a trailer that teased the phone in action confirming the implementations of dual cameras.
That aside, and we at GeeksULTD have decided to stop calling Xiaomi the “Apple of China”. While the design of the iPhone 7 wasn’t bad at all, seeing OnePlus moving away from their signature design personally puts me off. This is an area where Sony has been sticking to their roots all along, even with their 2017 releases. Trust me, Sony’s 2017 releases are just as much of a killer as the rest of the pack.
For specifications, nothing has been confirmed yet. However, we could expect the greatest and latest hardware from OnePlus, that includes a Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with around 6GB of RAM. As far as aspect ratio goes, it doesn’t seem like OnePlus has jumped aboard yet. However, that may or may not be a deal breaker for users. That’s up to the users to decide.
