After LG and Samsung came out with their highest-end flagships, it is now time for the Chinese brands to show off what they have. With Xiaomi unveiling their Mi6 just last week, it’s almost time for OnePlus to reveal their upcoming flagship smartphone, called the OnePlus 5.
While OnePlus hasn’t teased anything so far, it is confirmed that a new flagship smartphone from OnePlus is on the way. The OnePlus 5 is definitely going to be a bulldozer as we’ve seen OnePlus do in the past.
According to an online Chinese retailer, they’ve got some information and have also listed the OnePlus 5 for sale for $450. Mentioned specifications in their listing include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, a standard 1440p 2K display, 8GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 5.5-inch screen size. However, the listing also includes a picture of the OnePlus 5, that too with a dual-camera setup. If this is true, OnePlus could have finally jumped onto the dual-camera game. According to the retailer, the phone also packs a massive 4000mAh battery and comes with Android 7.1 out-of-the-box.
We are yet to see something from OnePlus officially, but it’d better be soon as fans are eager to have a look at the next flagship from OnePlus. And for a price of $450 USD, it doesn’t look bad when you compare it to other flagship giants and the dual-camera setup they’re offering. Stay tuned to GeeksULTD for more on the OnePlus 5.
