Bluetooth 5.0 Will Be Released By June 16
Bluetooth 5.0 is close to its release by Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) which is under final touches. The official date of Bluetooth 5.0 is revealed which will be on June 16 according to SIG’s Executive Director Mark Powell.
Bluetooth 5.0 will add significant capacity for advertising transmissions. It will have two times more range and four times more speeds for low energy transmissions as compared to its old version, the Bluetooth 4.0. Bluetooth 5.0 will also provide significant new functionality that are connection-less services like location information and will help in navigation systems.
Correction….. Bluetooth 5.0 will be out to the public on April 21st, Samsung S8 and S8+ will be the first devices to use 5.0 and they release on the 21st. True story
