Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm – Liquid Cooled Beast from Zotac

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 is currently the 2nd king of the hill graphics card after the mighty TITAN X (Pascal). The GTX 1080 is based on the revolutionary Nvidia “Pascal” architecture and it is a very fast & highly-efficient GPU. The Pascal GPUs are out for quite some time now; they released back in the end of May.

Some days after the release of the Founder’s Edition Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080, we started to see some custom-designed GTX 1080s too. In June, only a few days after the release of GTX 1080, Gigabyte announced their GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming edition.

Well, now, Zotac is taking things to the next level with the GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm. This new GPU comes with a pre-installed water block. This will make things easy for guys who don’t want to open their air-cooled graphics card and install a water block by themselves. The water block on the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm is made up of lightweight aluminum with 0.3mm micro-channel for better heat dissipation and rigidity. The Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm features 2 3/8-inch fittings with G1/4-inch threads.

The Zotac GTX 1080 ArcticStorm also have RGB LEDs. You can change the color of the LEDs according to your needs using Zotac FireStorm software.

The card is liquid-cooled, but still, Zotac didn’t give it much of an overclock over the stock Founder’s Edition GTX 1080. But still, the users can overclock it themselves. This is a great product for those who don’t want to take the hassle of installing a water block. And the RGB LEDs on the card is definitely a nice feature.

No details about the pricing of the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm are revealed yet.
