Prepared by PlatinumGames, the Bayonetta franchise has become fantastically famous among Nintendo gamers as it offers an engaging, surreal story that provides players with intense and colorful action.
It’s no surprise that Bayonetta 3 is one of the majority expected titles coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022. For a while, many people were worried that the game would not show a 2022 release date, but it has since been affirmed in the Bayonetta 3 trailer and announced that players will see the title in October of this year.
A handful of months before the release of Bayonetta 3, more info about the game have been revealed, especially the story and the next place of the famous witch. There has been a lot of speculation regarding the story of Bayonetta 3, including the theory that Cereza might return given the new hairstyle that Bayonetta is sporting.
Now some details about Bayonetta 3 have been confirmed by the Australian Categorization Board. This review doesn’t contain any major spoilers, but if you’re a fan who wants to go into Bayonetta 3 without knowing anything, it’s a good idea to stay away from it.
Looking forward to what fans can expect from Bayonetta 3, the Australian Classification Board says that the story revolves around a human character who travels through a series of fantasy environments where you fight a monster called Homonculi and a evil creature called the Singularity.
This causes Bayonetta and additional characters to end up on an island called Thule in an attempt to “prevent the Singularity from destroying the known world”.
The expression “known universe” caught the attention of fans as if it confirmed the concept of a multiverse heading into Bayonetta 3. Two Bayonets appeared in the latest trailer. However, the game seems to be limited to a handful of witches and establishes the singularity as an adversary that threatens not just Bayonetta now, but many others.
The Australian Board of Classification also noted that the theme of Bayonetta 3 contained fantasy violence, monsters and supernatural creatures, with clarifications about characters removing their hearts to increase their abilities.
No nudity was mentioned in the review. Bayonetta 3 can do it thanks to the naive angel mode. Some fans criticized it as a Nintendo change, but Bayonetta 3 creator Hideki Kamiya responded to critics saying it wasn’t.Bayonetta 3 is scheduled to release on October 28, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.
