The comeback of the manga has been teased in a new rumor, and even the Hunter x Hunter anime stars are freaking out.
For those who don’t know, a photo of some manga draughts tweeted by an unknown account supposed to belong to Yoshihiro Togashi sparked a Twitter frenzy today. The teaser stated that Togashi was working on new chapters, but no one could verify the claim until the creator of One-Punch Man stepped in. Yusuke Murata confirmed that the account belongs to Togashi, giving admirers plenty of reason to rejoice.
Megumi Han and Mariya Ise were quick to comment on the ordeal as well. The two voice actors are, after all, Hunter x Hunter royalty. Han is most recognized for his role as Gon in the anime, while Ise was in charge of Killua. Even though the Hunter x Hunter anime ended a long time ago, the two actresses are known as Hunter x Hunter enthusiasts. So, once the hiatus announcement was made public, the two actors took to social media to express their displeasure.
Han shared a simple image of Gon crying from the Hunter x Hunter manga, and Ise did the same with Killua. Neither actress stated anything definitive about the revival, but it appears they’re just as excited as we are about the manga’s reappearance. So, if Shueisha wants to make an official announcement about the comeback, that would be fantastic!
